I feel so old watching these videos. I was 10 years into my pharma career before the internet existed. I worked with G13 THC in sesame oil. I was an engineer and worked on the processes to encapsulate it. Everything had to be blanketed in N2 to prevent oxidation. I discovered the loading dock guys had opened it upon receipt and I had to purge it. I grabbed our formulation guy as a witness and retrieved it. We had 18 armed guards per DEA requirements. I explained what I was doing to the guard as I exited the building. He shrugged and said "whatever". It was a $750k jar. In the future, I'll tell you about driving to my lab in the next town with a giant sack of methadone in the passenger seat of my car when I was developing the USP compendium method.

You're right about those smaller plants. The tastiest I ever grew were these seeds that were little runt sprouts with deformed leafs. Only 2 of 5 sprouted from the pack. Grew to full size and the flavor was out of this world 10x terps. Never got a clone haha.
Lived in Seattle for 20 years.. Some of the best smoke ever.. Late 80's early 90's, the smoke in the N.W pretty incredible. Come do your thing here in Michigan brother.

I have seeds from the 80‘S and I grew, one 2 years ago , I was upset that I didn’t keep clipping from it . But I still have tons of mystery seeds, so I will get back into it and do some Pheno hunting and go from there.
Things have changed so much since 1980 … I did have the biggest plants in Bixby 2020. Cops kept coming by to take their pic with the plants😂 amazing, spent my whole life playing hide and seek with them

Texas your neighbor is likely to either rip or report. I was ripped for my entire collection of seeds. I had seeds that I’ve held onto darting back to the mid 90s up to 2023 releases. No garden this year. I was getting ready for my first spring dep. I’m sick to my heart and with all I’ve been through here in last 2 1/2 yrs here. My drive went off the cliff and there’s no one I have met that has a garden heart. Here it’s Spray Roundup for their go-to. Repressed to the point of depression, I’m tired. Sorry for the rant and negative energy, it’s still fresh since I went to get my seeds out two days ago, to pull what I’d decided on and everything was gone. And I’m sure they don’t even know what they have and what they took from me. More than just seeds. Peace folks
Greenhouse seeds and Barney's farm have been my favorites so far, Greenhouse super lemon haze Is my favorite strain even after 20 years of smoking. Nirvana Maui was nice too

Been breeding my own since 1986 and some of the best stuff i ever had was from junky looking plant seed stock , so i throw nothing away unless i have cloned and self pollenated it for preservation , you have to think of it as trash to treasure and put in the work . Consistency is a false statement unless you are cloning . So always give seeds to friends and family to expand the scope of research in your seed arsenal , because every cultivar has something special hiding , you just have to find it .
Great show! Maryland went Full Recreational. Building a pretty advanced Grow Cabinet. Any guidance on picking out the proverbial Sativa Speed Weed? Lots of very powerful pot out there claiming Sativa, but couch lock seems common at the higher THC levels. Not that a couch lock buzz is terrible, just prefer the Classical Sativa Buzz. Does a particular "Bouquet" or Terpene assay indicate Sativa? Here in MD, we get a full assay of Terpenes, but they're all over the place on what they classify "Uplifting/Energetic/Sativa/Creative etc.
And you have to live with the plant to understand why he said the best tree is grown at home. I rock with this show. Is stuff I been saying fir years to these covid growers is what I call pandemic growers. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Most mid isn't mid because the plant is trash, it's because the grower was and no love was put into it. Cartels put fear, greed, and death into their grows and the mid brick is the result.

For the best, ask a 90 year old Mujihadeen or a wise old former Pathet Lao fighter. Maybe spend a few years in Northern Indian, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Nepal or Bangledesh. You won't find it on the West Coast. Hawaii, BC and Nor Cal have great commercial hybrids.

First seeds are Ace Seeds Panama x Malawi should be decent sativa.. wow, 6 days the seeds popped and growing fast.
