- A family and community in mourning after a teenage girl died over the weekend after she was hit by a boat while waterskiing off the coast of Key Biscayne.
Dear God, bless her family 💕
Amen. 🙏🙏
Best of luck with this investigation! Here in the North Dallas area, we are approaching the 29th anniversary of the unsolved disfigurement of Stephanie Booker by a hit-and-run speed boater on Lake Lewisville (June 17, 1995).
Have you checked every boat propeller in the State for her DNA in 29 years???
@traybern I haven't done a damn thing. Not sure what the police have done at this point.
My condolences to the family and friends 🙏
May her memory be a blessing ❤
Beautiful young woman. It’s a tragedy.
What a loss.
Boating accidents happen more often than you think.
That's terrible .. Pretty girl. Shame
She was so pretty.
I so hope people can put up ski flags or stay in more shallow water, what a tragedy 😭
You don't water ski in shallow water for all kinds of reasons. As far as the flags, where would you suggest putting them?
@@TheSaturnV I think she meant you should ski in the river or intercoastal waters here in Florida. It's hard to see someone in those rough waters. That was not smart. I agree with you on flag. What are they going to do fly a drone above the skier? I have lived around boats and in Florida all my life and I have never seen a ski flag. I use them when I dive but even that really doesn't stop a boat in the ocean. It's hard to see.
It makes it so much worse for the family and for the offender if he does not come forward soon.
I suspect an Auto pilot , nobody watching if the boat was tracking straight with no response after impact .
Boaters know other boats like theirs , do the family a favor and let’s ask all 4 white motor center console owners if they were there .
A dealer could also name them too I bet .
Keep up the announcements.
Why the reward? They have the guy responsible already. The "Boat Master" that was pulling the skier without flags, a spotter, or buoys, and not paying attention to traffic on the water. I'm sure that the boat that struck the girl didn't do it on purpose. A certain amount of risk is accepted by anyone that ventures out on the water.
Was just her head out of water '? Did she have on life jacket ? Very possible boat operator didn't know he ran over her .
You’re only 8 inches tall when you fallen into the water.
The boater probably thought they hit the wake and as big as they are saying the boat was, they wouldn't have even felt it.. You cannot see directly in front of you when you are boating.
So you think the boater is still unaware?
@@xandervk2371 unlikely. The description of the boat is everywhere. They have to know or at least suspect it was their boat. Either they are trying to avoid being caught or they are consulting with a lawyer and planning their surrender to police.
@@Task-paralysis24.7 They're selling their home and setting up a bank account in the Caymans, getting their passports and repainting that boat,, face lifts are the order of the day in these cases.
EXACTLY... both possibilities I've raised elsewhere. Some boats/aircraft, etc., you may not be able to see anything within 10 seconds of impact, for example. You may only be able to see forward clearance 10 or MORE seconds ahead.
Think of a massive ship, for exaggeration. Unless they have forward-facing cameras in the bow, THEY may not be able to see anything small less than a MINUTE or two ahead, depending on speed.
@@xandervk2371I think he’s in Louisiana by now!
Where are the pictures?? Everything is captured on cell phones. They know who did this , the type of boat, call letters. Must be in with law enforcement .
Boater will say the usual hit and run response "I thought I hit a deer."
What's with all the theater and fake nonsense?
Tell the WHOLE STORY!
Boater will turn themself in probably.
so sorry for her family 🙏❣️🙏
Many are aware and know the identity of the operator of this Boat , Boat owner, place of storage and docking. 👀😳
Gotta SOBER UP before turning himself in!!
🙏🏽💙
I bet it was a DUI boater.
Why? They probably didn't see her in the ocean. You have a very powerful boat, 4 outboards running, the bow is out of the water and they can't hear anyone yelling.
@@julin2rs548 Where did you get the definitive number of motors on the boat?
what i think most likely was a accident. now turned into something much more serious. now i will say this is that boat was as big as they making it. and if he was close to the jet skies they may not have known they ran over her. not making excuses for the boater and it sure is a great lose of a young woman. and these jet skis needs to have some kind of flag or something on them. because most think they own the water. sorry getting off topic. so sorry for the lose of this young woman.
It wasn't jet skies it was water skis
@@AnonymousPerson-gb1hd yea thanks i went back to watch it again and your right. but its still a sad lose.
Just think that person that owned the boat probably thought they hit a log or something and heard a loud thud then when they got home looked at the boat for damage and really didn't think much about it, later that night relaxing in front of the TV a news report comes on telling of the girl hit by a boat, The guy thinks damn that's a shame, and as the reporter shows the spot and the time of day, the boater says to himself , Thats funny that looks like the same area I was in and it was about that time of day too ! Then it hits him, OH my god ! I think it was me that killed that girl!
It's possible boat operator didn't hear thud .
I would check that Bahama - at large
Very sad. Perhaps they thought that they had hit a manatee? I hear it's not uncommon in Florida.
So, an accident? OY VEY! 😢
Not buying that story
So now have to ban boats just like ebikes
R i p
poor girl...That's a terrible school name
What I don't get.if she was with a group of friends water skies.what boat were they attached to.nobody was paying attention but to their devices..🤔🤔🧐
Do you mean how long did it take for her friends to notice she had fallen off the tow line? That's a very good question. Then, how long did it take them to react and circle back to her.
She was in the ocean. Go watch the other news report. No one saw her in 2 to 3 foot swells. She was behind a huge speed boat, not a ski boat (though you can technically ski behind most boats). These reports are not actually showing the area or sea conditions at the time of the accident.
If in ocean.again.pretty freaking big ocean.with friends.someone should have been paying attention if not the driver of their boat.
Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear in your entire life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
boat driver must have done on purpuse because you must see were you are going ahead of you. even on water. or whem the ski was missing a rider he or she should have been alert but sounds like cold killer
Look people ... this is an unfortunate accident. The boat driver probably thought he hit a dolphin. And why did she ski in front of a moving boat ?
Be that as it may, but why then hasn't the boater come forward?
@@kurteckhardt7327 They may not have even known they hit anything as the size of the boat, they would not have even felt the hit. Water skiing is dangerous and people do stupid things like ski in front of an oncoming boat. There are laws in place on how you overtake and pass an oncoming boat, obviously the driver of the boat pulling her did not do everything right as well. Larger boats cannot see directly in front of them and could be a hundred foot blind spot. Not saying either side was at fault, but there is more to the story than being told.
Where is she supposed to ski? Why do you need to blame the victim?
When you sky in a popular area your always skiing in front a boat. That's why a spotter is required most anywhere. If you can't recognize skiers in the area, you shouldn't be driving a boat around land... I have more questions
@@MrOldclunker You drive a car, you have to be able to see what's in front of you? There were no big waves there either.
They will never find that boat, and I guarantee you that the killer already scuttled the boat, in deep water!
Jewish? Lmao
