I just upgraded from an Ender 3 V2 to the A1 with AMS .... the difference is absolute night and day. This thing is a weapon straight out of the box and I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't 3d printed before (which is something I would usually never do). Bambu Lab has really smashed the competition out of the park.
Jim, I have to agree that Bambu has changed the 3D printing world. It will be interesting to see what their 2025 model is, everyone expects a much bigger build and multiple heads. You were so correct, that once you get into 3D printing you are only limited by your budget or space, don't ask how I know!
FDM is like a standard jelly donut, resin is like an amish crack donut. (It has this cinnamon powdered sugar that is stupid good and messy). Also height is an issue I have run into. AMS door on the top is a bit taller than you would expect.
I started with the Ender 3 v3 SE, it's basic but it taught me a lot.. A year later I got the X1C w/ AMS. The color changing waste quite a bit of filament but it's awesome. It's faster, the print quality is great and the ability to keep an eye on the print using the webcam is so useful.Edit: I should mention the X1C w/ AMS is a lot louder than the ender 3. I ended up wrapping mine with Dynamat sound deadener and printing a muffler for the exhaust fan. .

I just bought the Kobra 3 combo for only 350 and it prints amazing 4 or 8(with 2nd A.C.E.) color prints. For me it is so good i bought a second one.
