The clip is from Les Blank's film "A Poem is a Naked Person," a documentary about Leon Russell. Sadly, this is the only appearance Eric Anderson makes in the film.
@@johnwemm8848 I've been a long time fan of both Andersen and Russell, but I'm not sure how to take Leon here. This video doesn't give us anything, it leaves us wondering instead.
@@mitchgawlik1175 yes. Leon did end up contributing nicely to the album. I wish this footage extended, wherever it was from. And what was that last 5 seconds of it, with those people?
@@johnwemm8848 Either Eric or Leon in concert? This clip, to me, is reminiscent of Dylan meeting Donovan in the film "Don't Look Back". Actually, more so the posted RUclips clip of that meeting. I've often wondered what Leon was like in everyday life.
Yes, I wish this clip included Eric's entire performance of the song. Damn. Time Run Like a Freight Train is certainly one of my favorites.
This is how people’s differences should end

Thanks for the intimate footage.
Wish the footage continued....can this be found anywhere else? Love Debbie Green at the end of this clip.
So good. Is this from the lost album recording session?
I wish there was some context to this. Eric and Leon Russell antagonizing each other?
Leon comes off like an a-hole here

Why the bad vibes?
Good question. Was Leon on a star trip? He certainly was a talented man and those
talents were in demand.
