I'd be certainly inclined to grab some spare fishing weights!! Trouble would be the ascent, and with enough dives there, they'd pile up pretty quick. :D Great must-Dive!
Hey I spoke to "young Harry" and his bell was found by the bow. I am waiting for a reply from Bill Davis on the bell with Delaware engraving. I also contacted the "Marine Mammal Stranding Center and will attach their reply. Marine Mammal Stranding Center This is really amazing footage, thanks so much for sharing! Our Director, Assistant Director and Stranding Technician (who is also a whale watch boat naturalist) reviewed the footage and all appears to be normal behavior. It is likely that the whale and dolphins were curious about your activities. What a beautiful, calm, flat day on the ocean, we are all very jealous! This made our day, thanks!
I contacted Bill Davis ( he found the first bell that was engraved with the ships name and date) . He stated that he found the bell just off the wreck and over the years it has turned greenish but still looks pretty good.
Great videos ! Have you ever dove the manasquan inlet ? Can you recommend any shore dives in nj ? Im newly certified and am looking for local water to work on my fundamentals !
