What the hell is that supposed to even mean anyway ya know!? Like, peoples boating habits and shit isn’t common knowledge and not something somebody could sit there long enough just thinking about until they know the answer lmao, they’d have to actually: know the answer. Like hey, what foods and drinks do I have in my fridge right now? You don’t know? Years ago there was an English Military General who served many years in the English Army. He lived his final years amongst 50 dogs, and several friendly animals in his large mansion. The General had no wife, no children only his beloved animals. When he was dying of old age. Many of his former soldiers who served under his command visited him and all asked the same question. "Sir, we need to know. Why do you live alone with no company except these animals." The Generals response to his men, "after many long years of seeing wars and the cruelty that man can do to his fellow man on the battlefield, I rather live my final years in peace amongst my animals."

I've been there! It is a great place to visit. There are so many playful sea otters, harbor seals and sea lions. When I was there there were wails too at the mouth of the harbor.

That was a great film clip, thankyou! Wisdom, strength, compassion, resilience & endurance some of their amazing qualities. Humans can learn so much from animals. Such underestimated little souls

Honestly, I'd take 24 hours of this over National Geographic. The abscence of any kind of dramatic music over just clips of otters gives us more time to be in their headspace and put ourselves in their situation.

the reason why they hold hands is to make sure they dont get drifted apart from each other

that baby on the boat is so sweet. imagine going to your boat and seeing that it's become a baby otter creche. i think i'd melt and they'd find a puddle with a baby otter nearby.

Did I miss it or they don’t tell why otters hold hands? They did talk about the seaweed, but not about holding hands.
