OMG the fact that she hasn't even formally trained in vocal coaching and sounds as amazing as she does is insane. Also it makes so much sense that they're big deftones fans, the music definitely gives off that dark, ethereal yet heavy vibe. This band is going places!!
Yeah they will touring with Ghost, the fans will love them for sure.

@@colwellalec Yes they put the same quality into all of their songs. Some bands only have 1 or 2 really good songs per album, but Spititbox is consistently good

Spiritbox is literally one of the absolute best bands around, and I'm not some fan girl just kissing ass either. They're brilliant, and have a bind and magic that no other band has. The strings blow your mind with Courtney's beautiful voice, then the breakdown hits and it's a whole other Courtney, and it's great! They have the kind of breakdowns that make me wanna drop kick my wall! I really hope US gets the honor of seeing you live in 2021. Don't EVER change guys. You're perfect. 🤘💥💯

She is a beast! Her vocals are insane! Such a hidden gem. The band deserves more attention.
Country LaPlante is amazing! Shes's so authentic and it's first studio treated songs while she's kept learning and singing and screaming more. I will do anything to help the band or expanded out to Northern America.
I don’t know how I’d not heard of this band until about a week ago but damn, they are superb! This woman who seems so humble and nice in this video is a force of nature when she roars and her clean voice is damned near angelic - crazy dichotomy! I wish them massive success!
I have been waiting for a rock band of this magnitude for a very very very long time. This is definitely one of the greatest bands of this decade.

Might be the minority but the original is heavier to me. But both are absolutely amazing
@@aaron5222 I like both, but Courtney's voice is clearer to me. She is very good at providing aggression while still being extremely clear. So I too prefer the original, but both are fantastic

I would of never know about this band without buying a new car a couple weeks ago and getting XM radio free month and LIQUID METAL was playing spiritbox / Constance and was immediately hooked
Keep the subscription up. Octane and Liquid Metal are a way of life.
Definitely one of my go to bands on the daily. Mara Effect 3 just has a special place with me.

Been a fan since I heard Blessed Be on Liquid Metal. Instantly knew you guys would blow up. Then Holy Roller hit and it blew my already high expectations out of the water. Now here we are a few days after Eternal Blue released. Absolutely amazing album. 💙
Courtney is a great singer, with excellent vocal control.
You just know that band you go crazy with,out of the blue, that's gonna hit big and hard! Same thing happened to Jinjer and Tatiana! It's incredible to admit right now that, even though they are getting the hype they deserve right now, this 44 year old metalhead from a tiny island too, (named Dominican Republic) is telling you that Courtney and Tatiana are the rightful owners of the metal throne reserved for Queens only! It's official! I'm so happy for them and I love Courtney forever!!

Randomly found spiritbox on RUclips , was HOOKED after watching 2 videos. So found them a week ago and spent my birthday Oct 3 doing 24 hour spiritbox only soundtrack , volume all the way up, wicked!
two years later and continuing all spiritbox birthday, just more tracks as their discography grows!
This is the first time I've been able to see Jose. He looks like a metal version of Richard Grieco. Very cute! And Courtney, you have the best female singing voice I've ever heard. I'm almost 40 years old now. It took this long to hear a voice so beautiful. Keep up the awesome work.
I've been listening to "Rule of Nines" on repeat for weeks now :) Can't wait to hear more from this band.

This band came up as a recommendation Jan 22 and since then even in a short time , I see more and more people talking about then. They’re new 3 songs are BANGERS

I was worried all new music was going to have the same effect on me, but then I listened to Rule of Nines and Holy Roller and I'M FIRED UP!! Thanks for the kick ass tunes!!

Very cool that Courtney and her husband not only are in the band together, they have normal day jobs and work together too. I've been listening to their stuff non stop since hearing "Blessed Be" recently. So many great songs and music videos.

It was a limited edition (only 50 made) press that they released in early 2018. There's been talk about bringing them back, I hope it happens!

So Courtney is actually 31 & American. Google lists her as being 25 & being born 2/26/95 in Victoria, Canada. Guess Dr. Google isn't so all knowingly accurate after all. 31 actually makes sense because developing the caliber of voice like she has takes time. Look at Tatiana as well (33). Same thing. It's not an overnight success to have what these women have accomplished thru dedication to their craft.

I also agree that it's a shame that Holly Roller is the responsible for them to getting the attention they deserve, and not other songs that are just more out of this world kind of songs, especially the Mara Effect live at the studio. Those 15 minutes is like a perfect trip to a perfect metal heaven, where you reach your Nirvana state! But radio is like that! Usually are the more commercial stuff that gets you out there. Do not get wrong, I love every Spiritbox song the same...it's just that there are specific songs that are more magical and complex, that truly show the full capacity of ridiculous outrageous talent to make the most dark, heavy and beautiful metal these ears have heard in his life, but that's just me
I wouldn't say holy roller isn't complex, that riff is nuts, and her screams are the best in metal. I mean her voice itself makes it complex

Why ? Everybody have a different taste, holly roller attract people who are more into heavy stuffs and groove. While the other songs attract different types of people.

Finch Lynch has obviously never visited Huntsville, Alabama. It's the Silicon Valley of the South and is full of transplants from various States. And it's a military base town as well.
