Hello, i have a question, me and husband r kinda had the wedding ceremony, but we just done it for the papers, like we went to the office and we had the „i do“ things and we signed up for the marriage paper. But we didn’t have the vows and the rings. So for our wedding, we‘re thinking about doing the vows and rings but we dont how to do, and i would love to walk down the aisle and doing those stuff. Should we just do it privately or with some bridesmaids, groomsmen or we can have another ceremony with all the guests (but mostly just for pictures and video bc we r basically husband and wife), so do we need a host or anyone to be the witness? I hope u answer my question. And anyway i love ur video, its really helpful
@@esthervu8482 I would look at getting a celebrant. You can then create your own non legal ceremony with them and design it exactly how you want it. Xx
I have just been to a wedding that focused on all the „fun details“ such as decoration, nice invitations and so on and they did not focus on having enough parking spots, sleeping spaces for the guests (the venue was in the middle of a forest), enough bathrooms and so on. Nobody cares about decorations or what the invitation looked like if it is so stressful to get a parking slot or there are not enough bathrooms. Taught us all a big lesson. The food and drinks were great though
Amen to the food and non-alcoholic drinks. Feed your guests for sure. And also “highly consider” feeding and seating your vendors (music band and photographers).
I’m doing the complete opposite of the trends and traditional. I sent physical Save thr Dates to my family and bridal party only. I’m doing digital invitations. We’re doing outdoor wedding and colorful dresses. My bridesmaids can wear any style that they want. We’re not doing a traditional sit down reception. We’re just gonna straight to partying.
I recently attended a wedding where there was so little food and it was all served family style so that guests at each table distributed it themselves. It was so awkward, and they didn’t have a vegetarian option or any means of accommodating dietary restrictions. It made matters worse that they had spent a great deal on videography, photography, stationary, wedding planner, flowers, decor (pretty much everything else). I have no idea how this happened, but it kind of wrecked the wedding for the guests!!
This is so helpful, your videos are always awesome ❤ I wouldn't have even thought about those aspects of diy like the storage of the stuff afterwards lol. I also can't wait for your video about saving money on wedding food without skimping on food for your guests!
The thing about hiring instead of D.I.Y, is yes it could be cheaper to hire but then they slap the refundable damage cost on. I know you get it back (unless you damage it) but still it leaves you short for that time. X
Love this! Thank you 😁 I was feeling guilty about not wanting one of my friends to be a bridesmaid because I was her bridesmaid in 2018. I still love her and want her to come and everything but we aren’t as close as we were back then but in my head I’ve been thinking she HAS to be a bridesmaid because otherwise it’s unfair. This video has given me the confidence to not ask her to be a bridesmaid just because I feel guilty. It’s so hard not to feel like you’re leaving people out when it comes to bridesmaids because I love so many people but some of them I just don’t want to play that role
Our wedding will not be conventional in anything we are doing. We are doing it in a small church. His step dad’s church… which means no music. We are doing minimal decorating. My bridesmaids and I will all have lavender sneakers, no heels. We are have about 12 kids, so the reception is at a buffet. Saving us thousands, while ensuring that all of the kids will have something they want to eat. And after, us and our friends are going to a club for the dancing and drinking! We don’t have a huge budget and want to have the most fun we can with what we can afford!!! I’m actually sooooo excited and not stressed out one bit! His mom is giving up 7000 towards it and my mom is buying my dress.
What's the difference between the tasks/duties of a wedding planner and a wedding reception manager? As a matter of fact, _do_ wedding receptions have a professional manager?
Have you fallen into any of these? Or has this video helped you along the way? x

The reassurance of “you do you” is so nice. Cannot please everyone… this day is for me and my partner!
Yes to this ⚡️🙌🏻

Do you have certain wedding websites that you recommend?
