Ford Mustang theft light, car won't start

I was driving my 99 gt and it randomly died and pulled over, i noticed the theft light is just flashing and won't start anymore, i try to pull codes with my handheld tuner but it can't read the ecu? Burnt ecu maybe? Any help or tips is appreciated! I only have 1 key by the way
