- Everything is going wrong for Kari Lake in her senate race against Ruben Gallego. During an interview this week on News Nation, Lake was asked about the fact that EVERY poll showed her losing to Gallego since she entered the race, and Lake responded angrily by claiming that all of these polls are somehow outliers. That's an absolutely insane statement to make, but Lake is no stranger to insanity. And believe it or not, that's not even the worst thing that happened to her this week, as Farron Cousins explains.

MAGA controls a national party because of Trump, and even though Donny should be largely toothless after the election, the dark money-fueled Fascists will not be. So with the GOP being firmly planted at the extreme right end now, they will be looking for new ways to subvert whatever the Dems try to do. This means that 2026 will be extremely important to win, too, and if the Dems beat the negative odds this year and keep the Senate, it’s simply not realistic or sustainable that the Dems will continue blowing out the GOP for the next decade, even with high energy. It would be great if that did happen, but it’s a safe bet it won’t. The moderation of the GOP will also not happen overnight. That will require a massive schism leftward for it to happen quickly.

I live in the Phoenix Area. I am a Veteran and a member of an American Legion Post in Guadalupe, AZ. Ruben came to our post and announced that he was going to run for the Senate Seat. He hung out with us that day and his crew filmed the event. I am in Ruben’s video with several Veterans that support him. He is one of us.
