I dearly love Carole King; she was part of my teen years. But, with all due respect, Taylor Swift today is much bigger than Carole King - Taylor is more of the magnitude of the Beatles or Elvis. A lot of people who complain about Taylor Swift really don't understand how big she really is.
Carole King is a great listener and I know that first hand. When I met her at the airport terminal many years ago I told her about the joy her music brings others. I mentioned her album "Tapestry" and how it got me through a dark period, and said to her about how boring that comment must be for her since she gets that line everyday, and she said to me,.."Mark, I don't care if I heard that line a million times, or 2 million times...what did that album mean to you?" I never forgot that moment of time
Taylor swift the woman who gave life changing bonus to her truck drivers, who with each tour stop donated so much money to a local non profits, the one who boosted city tourism and has always fought for the people….yeah she has a big voice and she’s a great human being. Even as a non fan she has always been gracious and kind to others…except maybe her exes😂 But the fact that she doesn’t want lies to follow her speaks volumes of her integrity and principles. I’m glad she cleared the facts, they were obvious but she had to say them aloud just in case. What a sweetheart.

I go out and introduce myself to their children while they are walking to school. I talk to them so they can feel safe. I hang Bee sings in my gardens that say Bee thankful, Bee Nice. home This is how I play for democracy. I am taking my MAGA friends on vacation with my husband and me. This is how I fight with kindness to live in a Great America. Trump and Thomas and his wife need jail! I look to history and think of Kamala and Biden, Channey as Lincon trying to hold our country together. It is so discouraging, but I want to do the right thing.
