I love using this weapon. Although it requires strategy sometimes, it mostly feels like playing a point and click adventure. You point, You click, You win.

I use a lot of run speed in my painbrush load out. It makes a difference in my jump speed when I’m spamming the jump button and the ZR button at the same time. (I hope that makes sense it’s basically the brush combo of jump + attack, right?) I find adding run speed makes my jumps slightly more faster and my squid model move slightly faster as well when I traverse and swing. I’ve noticed that makes me a slightly harder target for Snipers to hit me while swinging because I’m jumping (and swinging) all over the place. (I REALLY HOPE all of this makes sense T.T) When I run pain brush without run speed I can immediately tell a difference but I’m having a hard time explaining what actually happens with it and what the actual difference is. Either way, I think a small key for the painbrush is run speed for the jump+attack combo synergy.
I’m a stock painbrush main and I agree with everything you said, Etce! ❤ This weapon is so underrated and it gets a lot of hate because it just kills. And like you said it consistently kills. For me, the joy I get is the cracked curling bomb kills I get with it. 🤭

This paintbrush is kinda cracked with opening gambit cause sensors + missiles. I run it with that and then I’m free to run ink saver and ninja squid with it. Build is the absolute worst if u lose to opening gambit buff but ur god if u don’t
