I don't know what American folks think of us Brits as a result of the media, but as a whole, we feel a strong connection to our cousins from across the pond. From a Brit, much love to you all x
Tilly, as an American I can tell you that we have no more stalwart allies then the Brits and your cousins the Scots, the Irish, the Canadians, and the Aussies. We see you as family across the pond, and your struggles our are struggles. Your joys are our joys as family. If anyone even so much as lays a hand on your beautiful country and people it will be our honor to defend you and to put our hands to the plow to lay them low.
Brothers
My brother was in the Marines for 12 years and he still goes over seas to visit his Royal Marine friends. He always told me that the Brits were just as engaged as the US were.
We love the Brits. Why would you think otherwise? You folks have been a great friend to us for many years. We will always appreciate that. Much love from the Yank side of the pond!
Thank you,Tilly. As your cousin from across the pond, I appreciate your comments. We feel the same. Much Love to you
I love seeing people who aren’t American, get patriotic with us it’s so neat to me.
I hope they like it just the same when I get patriotic for my Irish and Scottish roots!
It’s a shame many Americans have less patriotism and will openly bash and hate on America. Even worse is when politicians do it!
I have no clue how any real American can vote for an American hating politician.
What’s even crazier is that there are a lot of people more patriotic about the US that don’t live in the US than people that do.
Me too!
Ayy this scottish person is liking it
RIP Toby, America has lost a loyal patriot. He will be missed. His music will live on forever.
We lost Toby to cancer this week. It's hard to believe. God bless Toby.

about 9/11 on this 20th anniversary. Our country is in trouble right now. I pray for the days after those days when America came together
Also, Mr. Red, White and Blue is just amazing. I think you’d really love it!
This song rallied both the troops and the entire nation after 09/11 and continues to be the unofficial rallying cry for many Americans.
Absolutely. We are happy in our own country, minding our own business. Don't mess with us or our northern neighbor. Canada will stand and defend her own, but if she asks, she has backup. US. All she has to do is ask. We don't want to mess with anyone. We don't want anyone to mess with us. But if you do - you have our attention - and you may not like it. Just a point to remember.

Fun Fact: Toby Kieth was originally not going to record the song and just sing it at live events for military personnel. However, the troops liked it so much that the highest ranking officer of the Marines told him he should record the song, even that it was his duty as an American citizen to do so. He told him if Kieth wanted to contribute to the War in Afghanistan (remember this wasn't long after 9/11), recording this song was how he could do it.
Just kind of adds another layer to the song, really.
How do you say no to the commandant of the Marine Corps? Glad I looked for your comment so I wouldn't repeat it.
@@shannonp1656 It's not possible. Every commandant of the USMC to date has been extremely patriotic. That's what separates them from the leaders of some other branches.
@@returningfire2037 Agreed. Toby Keith had no intention of recording that song for release. It was just for military audiences . . . Until he was asked by someone he could not say no to.

I was in HS when 9/11 happened, led me to join the marine core. I can still remember getting dressed for school on the west coast and hearing on the radio that a plane had hit the trade center. I thought it was a prank because it was that type of station. When I got to school they obviously sent us all home, and I remember sitting down turning on the news and seeing the 2nd plane hit. Shook me to my core.

Sir, you are more of an American patriot than many Americans nowadays. Thank you for loving my country.

@@leovaldez5419 I’d argue we’re more patriotic then ever. It might not sound like it on the surface but if you look at it then I think its clear. The issue is people see right v left instead of actually talking and compromising. Right now, more than ever, true Americans need to remember how we felt and when Toby released this song. Because we are under attack again. And to be completely honest I am more concerned about this enemy than the enemy being talked about in this song. I was in the Marines during that time, Unafraid and ready, because "they" didn't matter who just f#cked up. Let us show you who you just picked a fight with. That's how we felt. But after 20 years of weakness and my own government and culture beating down patriotism, masculinity, self pride, and pushing this division and woke narrative.... and seeing with my own eyes our strong powerful military caving to it. I am almost lost for words. The flag does fly at my home. Right above our front door shortly before the welcome mat. Just beyond that you will find Patriots who grew up in the real America. Who served and continue to serve our country and community to this very day. Thank you for this song I needed it.

Also, if you haven't already done so, you should really watch the official video bc it shows him performing this song for the troops & his interactions with them, & their reactions to the song. It's really touching.
The year Toby made this I saw him in concert. Best. Concert. Ever! He ended his concert with this song. There were fireworks and red, white, and blue confetti at the end. So moving, I cried! Love Toby Keith! Love that you are so supportive!
I'd like to suggest that you react to Alan Jackson's "Where were you (When the World Stopped Turning)? It was written right after 9/11, and was considered so important that it was read into the Congressional Record of the US on November 16, 2001. That song still brings a tear to my eye.
I can't listen to that song without breaking down, nearly 20yrs later it still hurts.
My Great Aunt was in Tower 2 on the 82nd floor, she never got out.
I remember watching him on stage with his guitar singing it live for the 1st time. That day and every time I've heard it since, I end up in tears! It's one of those things you'll never ever forget, you'll always remember where you were, what you were doing, and how you felt! 🇺🇸❤
@@chrismorin1318 yup, I was in Las Vegas

Love that song as well. And yes I know exactly where I was when the world stopped turning. I remember almost the whole day and the feelings I had.
My friend, you're an honorary American after that wonderful reaction. Cheers mate !
I know 2 years ago but I just watched this. Love sent to you from Indiana USA. I love my freedom my flag and standing up for America. Sweet dreams, say your prays and bleieve in Almight God.
I love the Scottish and Irish people. I named one of my daughters Irish, that is her name Irish Coleen. I feel the same way you do for your
people as you do for us Americans. I also love your music.
Had to pump the volume to 100!!! Tears a flowing, this is a great song for that response to 9/11.
As a member of a family that can trace it's roots back to before the founding of this country and has had family in every conflict and family currently serving this song really brings emotions to the forefront. Proud to be an American and will never apologize for that.
Me,too! My Scots-Irish ancestors salute you.
So is my family, since Jamestown, & The Mayflower💯...Navy Brat Here...Salute to Scotland (I'm also of Scottish Descendant). 🙏🏼❤🗽💙✌🇺🇸
Never apologize! We live in the greatest country in the world!

Such a powerful song!! Brings huge pride in being an American!! Love the patriotism!
My brother from a different mother, you are totally AWESOME! Love to see y’all from other countries reactions to and love for our great country America 🇺🇸! I believe y’all are more patriotic than some of the haters in AMERICA!! Thank you for being you! Keep up the great reactions!!
Thank you very much Derek
I have the CD. It's a wonder why I haven't blown my speakers in my car. My husband served 2 deployments and this song is the true feelings we had when 9-11 happened. Happy you enjoyed
When this song first came out my brother asked if I had heard Toby Keith's new song. I asked my brother what the title was, he responded...you know, Toby Keith's new song " Boot in your Ass"....lol
😂😂
😂🤣🇺🇲🇺🇲
Hi @Roxanne how are you doing. Thanks for the kind word you can contact me directly tobykeithlegend@gmail.vom
Good Luck and God Bless you and your brother.
Thank you for standing with us!
love your reaction,America loves Toby Keith and his patriotism
Thank you for the kind words and reaction my brother.
My pleasure
As an Air Force veteran I approve of this message. :) We had already retired just a year or two before 9-11 . I'll never tire of watching the A-10 Warthog come in to help the ground troops.
Thank you for your service and God bless you! My dad is a Vietnam Army Vet.
Thank you sir. Many of my family have served over multiple generations. Ultimate respect & appreciation to all of you!!
Thank you for your service.❤
You could almost hear the BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP from the warthog. Had one come in on support in Beruit. Very welcome, from us and so freakin cool. Needless to say, we continued on mission just a few minutes after …..love it!
Thank you for your service.
Courtesy of the Red White and Blue is truly a song Every American Patriot should be able to stand behind
I loved your reaction! I wept with pride for our country during the song. Toby Keith expressed my feelings about 9/11. Thank you for your love and respect for America! Proud to call you a brother from across the pond!
We Americans must never forget that our power, strength, and might comes from almighty God, Amen! Praise God
Amen
Amen ....
Amein. Ever hear that there are no Atheists in foxholes? I believe that. Thankful that my father's life was spared in a foxhole in WW2 Europe.
Amen, and if we turn away from God, God will turn away from us.
My husband is a retired Green Beret who spent the last 5 years of his 26 year career as a Special Forces Battalion Medic in Iraq. Toby Keith was, and still is, a mainstay on his playlist. We had the pleasure of meeting him at a concert and he was such a great guy! He really loves our military. My dad was Air Force in Korea. My mother-in-law joined the Army when women didn’t really do that (lol..she’s a badass!) and my father-in-law was career Army. I couldn’t serve due to blindness in one eye, but I love me some military!! Thanks for spreading such positive energy for the USA.
And I love me some military stories? Thank everyone for there service. Good Luck and God Bless.
I’ve heard the song a million times but I’ve never seen this video, wow it gives me chills!! It’s crazy to me that there’s a whole generation that wasn’t even alive when 9/11 happened, just like there are generations that weren’t live during the holocaust. Our son has never known a world in which we weren’t at war post 9/11. I was just 13 miles from the Air Force base it was rumored the President was being flown to, my mom called me and wanted me to make the 2 hour drive home just in case the base was a target. I was in college and had just moved a couple weeks prior.
The respect you have for my Country makes me happy god bless you 🇺🇸🦅
This really was the feeling and spirt in the US after 9/11
I think you’re wanting to see Toby Kieth’s song American Soldier. It’s a more somber but true story about the life of an American Soldier
Yeah that's it but I have a feeling I may have heard it
Great reaction! Thanks for recognition. Love your enthusiasm😉😁
MY DEAR BROTHER, YOUR REACTION IS AS EPIC AS THE USAF❣️💯🔥🙏🇺🇸
I'm proud to be American, I love our county.
The airplane shooting out all the "fireworks" in every direction is an Angel Flight bringing home a fallen soldier or soldiers. Just thought you'd like to know. 💔
Toby Keith is a patriotic national treasure. I had the honor to see him perform one time. Love that man. I also love your reaction. I want to see the rest of your stuff. I consider U.K. folks to be my cousins.
Thank you for your reactions and appreciation of our troops! I am a very proud American, my Dad and both brothers served our great nation, and also a very proud OKIE like Toby, my personal life style is that I take no shit from anybody. I am 62 with no plan to change.....just ask the people I work with.
One of my favorite songs, America is Great because We won't back down, you awake a sleeping giant and he'll remind you just how small you are
It’s like general Yamamoto said after the attack on Pearl Harbor we have awoken the sleeping giant
Not so sure with Biden in office! He’s Coward
@@tawnymacleod4022 true but that statement has to do with we the people not bowing down to an oppressive government
@@tawnymacleod4022 Whether an Elephant or Donkey is in office, The Lord Christ Jesus is still in Heaven on His throne!🇺🇲💪
Exactly!! Don't start nothing, there won't be nothing!
When I see the footage of the 911 attack it still breaks my heart. Many years after September 11th my niece served in Afghanistan and Iraq. She was awarded a Purple Heart. She wouldn't really appreciate me telling that but I'm proud of her.
We thank you!
Thank her for her service!
That plane is called an 'angel flight', bringing home our fallen. They do that angel out of respect. It's really a beautiful sight to see. If you haven't seen his video with 'American Soldier', you have to watch that one. It always gives me chills and when the little boy salutes his father going on the plane, off to war, that is really touching. It's very well done.
I'd rather see this played before football games than what's going on now!
Love your reaction and glad to have allies such as you. Thanks for your service from a fellow troop (20 years retired USAF).
It was my pleasure. Thank you for yours also 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Thank you for your service.
@@broncobra Well thank you, respect from people like you make it worth even more. You take care. Keep supporting those that carry the flag now.
@@omahacheddar8471 I take it you are from NE? Me too. Gothenburg.
C130 gunship is the one with the chaff. She's called the Angel of Death. The other Toby Keith song you were looking for is American Soldier.
Love.the Angel of Death!
Aka the Spectre Gunship.
I love how this guy is more patriotic than a lot of Americans
Absolutely Loved Your Reaction to this song!! A Proud Scott's- Irish American here. I grew up in a little Coal Mining Camp in Eastern Kentucky in the 1960's. And I remember at school every morning after the bell rang for the school day to begin, the teacher and us kids would stand up and put our right hand over our hearts and in unison would say these words. ( I Pledge Allegiance to The Flag of The United States of America And To The Republic For Which It Stands One Nation Under God Indivisible With Liberty And Justice For All.) Looking back now, I see how Truly Amazing That Was and Is. One Very Blessed American Girl ❤️🇺🇲 Star's and Stripes Forever. In God We Trust!
