Watched Trans Am racers as they crossed the U.S. their route thru kentucky 2022. Made me interested in doing the kentucky portion. Wondering about places to stay. I'm 82 can only do 30/40 miles a day at 11mph.
Glad to see another video from you Paul. I’ve ridden the TransAm from Yorktown VA to Hazard KY. Trying to find time to pickup where I left off in Hazard next year and do another week or two. Love your videos!
Another good one Paul. I want to start making some videos and have a couple of questions for you as far as what hardware and equipment you are using. Are you using Apple products or are you using a PC? Obviously, you have a very upscale set up now, but what would you suggest as some good starting features and equipment for someone beginning to make videos? I plan to use my iPhone as the camera at least for now as I begin. What about headphones, microphone, etc. as well as anything I may not be considering. Any and all tips are appreciated. Thank you so much and have a spectacular day. Alan W Johnson
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. I'm a PC guy. Digital cameras have come a long way and the camera in your phone is probably more than good. The thing I neglected at first was audio. Most 'built in' mics are poor. So, having a good mic is important. I'm a total amateur when it comes to videos. During the pandemic I watched a lot of RUclips videos on how to make RUclips videos. Check out a guy named Parker Wallbeck. A very ambitious guy, makes excellent videos and I learned the most from him. Hope to see you down the road. Stay safe and ride on!
@@paulsuchecki3985 thanks Sir. BTW I’m a KY boy who recently moved to FL but there’s no place like home. I’ve spent a ton of time in western KY fishing the lakes and a bit on the river. It’s a pleasure to watch the scenery from your videos.
Mr Paul, I love your videos and I watched the video of your Natchez Trace tour. I am from and still live in Natchez and I'm wanting to travel from the Northern Term. back home. Do you know of any places close to the Trace that I can stay before the journey back the next day? Keep the touring videos coming because they are inspiring too not only me, but a lot of others as well. Thanks.
Sorry for the delayed response. South of Nashville I stayed at a hotel in Hohenwald. It's about 5 miles off route, but it about the only motel in that area. It's about a day's ride south of Nashville. Nothing fancy, but a clean place to stay. Have a great trip. Stay safe!
The whole 4k miles in 8 weeks? I've been thinking to do the Northern Trail from Oregon back to Chicago and I figured I'd need 8 weeks at least. Nice video and nice music as well! Cheers!
I'm assuming you're using royalty free music for your background. Where do you get yours from? How do you attach your main driving camera? Is it attached to your handlebars?
go ride your bike
Thanks Nathan. I need to ride my bike more!! Ride on!
Was there only one car on the road in that whole clip?! Did I miscount? Wowsers!
Only one car. Must have been a low traffic day. Stay safe and ride on!!
Good to see a post from you. I was wondering if you are doing any tours this summer.
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it!
Kentucky had some of the best roads I'd ever ridden on... like glass...but no shoulders 😞
I agree! Kentucky is a great state to cycle in. Thanks for watching. Hope to see you down the road. Ride on!
Thanks Paul! Look forward to seeing some more from this trip . Many thanks
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it!
In this whole video, only 2 cars passed in front of you. Wow!
Guess I need to watch again. I only counted one! LOL!
@@kellir.747 one at the very end at the stop.
That's what struck me too. America needs more roads like this.
@@tthomas184 Absolutely!

I was never much of a racer. Those guys are hard core. I wasn't built for speed. Thanks for watching. Stay safe out there!
I enjoyed this post. I’m usually biking up hill.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it!

I live in Somerset Kentucky you should go to the back woods on 192 in Somerset I live out through there
Thanks for watching. So close to the TransAmerica bike route. Ride on!!
thanks Paul, great stuff, sunny downhills are so heavenly
Yes they are! Thanks for watching. 😎
Very little cars on this route, this looks nicer than many roads i've cycled on in Belgium
That's part of the TransAmerica route in Kentucky USA. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and ride on!!

Speeding it up sucks. If you're in such a hurry get a Yamaha 750.
The music was fittingly sucky as well.
It was kind of an experiment, different from my other videos. Sorry you didn't like it. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks
I loved it! And thee music too.
But you are just traveling on a road for cars? Not clear how this is a “bike” route?
It's just another road in Kentucky along the TransAmerica bike route. Ride on!!
Dang, I love your content and style but the music is annoying.
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about that. I like the music. 😎✌
I think that Kentucky was one of my favorites states to ride through
Kentucky had some hills. Lots of great scenery. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and ride on!!
I hope you are out riding your bike. Maybe some new stuff soon?
Sorry about the slow response. Been out biking on rail trails. New videos coming soon. Thanks. Hope to see you down the road. Stay safe and ride on!
Did you ride the full trans am.? How awesome.
Thanks for watching. I rode coast to coast in 1985, but it was a modified Trans Am. I've done the entire TransAm in pieces, and the Western Express.
Man, Paul! You were in the boonies! I'm in Louisville.
Does this route miss West Virginia?
Yes. It goes trough eastern Kentucky and Virginia but skips West Virginia.
Thanks for another adventure.
Thanks again!
Superb Content on your videos Paul! Thanks for sharing🆒🚴♂️
Thanks for watching! Stay safe out there and ride on!!
