In plants during respiration the gas used is Oxygen (O2)
And the Gas is produced is Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Similar in Animals the process of respiration is same as in plants..
However at the time of photosynthesis the plants uses Carbon dioxide gas(CO2) and produces Oxygen (O2)..
