I went to Blackpool last year and had to lugg my suitcase all the way from the station to the central pier. I wasn't sure of the buses. So great. I can't use my disabled bus pass on the tram, as its a South Yorkshire pass but I can on the buses, which was really useful.
I used to travel by team from Whitegste drive at the bottom of Hornby Road all the way round to the Oxford then along Waterloo road to the junction of Lytham Road the change team on Lytham Road to get off at Arnold School. Many of those old teams still seem to get the off outings. The point being that the old team service was a total transport system which served the town for many years , in my case taking me to school from 1953 at age 11. (I'm 82 now).🤔
If you want to see a tram testing, the best time to go is around 4 - 5pm and they ate testing into the evening. This is happening everyday for the next few weeks until the 11th June
Once the services to the station start running, will there no longer be direct trams running all the way from Starr Gate to Fleetwood, missing out the station?
Talking to a conductor, it sounds like there'll be so many trams an hour diverting to the station and others will go straight through. Yet to be announced.

Thanks for the update on the trams. When I've been to Blackpool I love going on the trams😊😊

The trams used to run all around the Fylde Coast.
