I am loving mine!!! I put my money down before reveal was even over. What a blast to ride. I threw thousands at my Shovelhead to go fast. This one is fast from the factory. This new engine is powerful. The horsepower and torque are amazing. I hope Harley sells a million of them. It is the future.

I keep coming back to this bike because it has all the features I wouldn’t mind having for the first time on a bike. My last bike was a 2007 Honda 919. I’m 38 and figured it was time for my tastes to mature, lol. Thanks for all the info!

That bike is growing on me. As an owner of an 06 carburetor sportster 1200 with 18” apes, I hated this new sportster- but it’s growing on me.

The starter issues went away for me after changing the battery to HD Lithium Ion.
What I hate is that it eats oil like fuel.
I absolutely love my little rocket cruiser. Added windscreen, mudguards, sundowner seat, aftermarket levers, Kemimoto saddlebag mounts, mid controls, engine guards and heated grips.
Next ones: Memphis hand guards, TBR exhaust, aftermarket springs and Slimmer front tyres for track. Then a tailbag and my mini ST rocket is complete

I'm in a similar position-first bike I learned to ride is a sportbike and I'm looking to try something different-and this is the first HD that's caught my eye. Very very interested in going for a test ride on this one. Thanks for the great review!🙌🏻

I was able to get the first one that came out on my state. My sportster S , is my second bike/ first cruiser. So far mine has been flawless , with zero issues. Been having a ton of fun. Besides the super stiff suspension , the bike was really well built by HD. Hope everyone stay safe out there…. 👍

Hi, thanks for the review , I was at the Harley shop Saturday and Sat on one and really liked it . I have been riding Harleys for many years and got rid of my Road-Glide last year and am currently riding a 17 Breakout I customized as I don’t ride as much as I used to . My last three bikes were Glides but I’m older now and don’t do as many miles. I need to try one ,but storage is still a problem as I have one Bag on my B.O. I like to have a sweatshirt & jacket with me when riding . Your bike looks great !

good review , I've had mine for about 1500 miles now , youre spot on, my only gripe is the suspension
i have to focus on the road also ,,, I'm coming off a Triumph speed triple for the last 10 years and my legs and knees were starting to ach a lot , so i felt i needed something cruiser like , but wanted something sporty and fast , this bike has that , i love it , cant wait to ride it everyday .... also I have never had the hard start issue , mines a 2022 ,so maybe they fixed it ?

I would make the exact same ride review, other than the seat, it is thin and has no back to it. I am impressed if you managed 400 miles on a trip. I have a thin butt and the best I can do is about 4 hours in the saddle, so I am ordering the Corbin Gunfighter and tail tidy. I have no regrets with the bike though. Hell, everyone modifies the bars, seat and exhaust on a Harley anyway, so you factor the cost in at purchase.

Mine has actually shut off twice on me ( on the same ride) just after the 1,000 mile service, but that was actually at 126mph the first time and 110mph the 2nd. I immediately put it in the shop to have them fix it. They updated some modules or something, and said it was good to go, but to my knowledge they didn't actually road test it at speed to see if the problem was solved! Needless to say, I've been reluctant to take it over 100 since ( I was out in the middle of nowhere when it shut down )

    • @johnny_916

Happened twice with me also, when I pulled into the highway and accelerated! not fun…waited for 4 hours for a tow truck to bring the bike back to HD and they fixed 😩, but happened again…
Something about this engine electronics! Other than that, the most beautiful looking HD out there.

Good job. I bought the Corbin seat, the seat is very poor.
You are spot on with the suspension. I'm waiting on Ohlins or Legends to come up with something.
Have you tried the range to see what you can get?

    • @Armenian
      @Armenian  2 года назад

No I haven’t measured range yet, but I always top off at 100miles just to be safe. In S mode I’ve ridden it until the fuel light warning came on.

A guy who bought one made a comments that he suffered catastrophic engine failure halfway through a 5000 mile trip. It has as many problems as the milwaukee-eight does but different ones one guy bought one and it spread so much time in the shop he let them repossessed it. Everybody thinks they are ugly overpriced and they are as unreliable as any of the other things they have put out in the last 20 years. The only people who like them are the RUclipsrs who get to ride one for free.

That bike is definitely not a cruiser. It's more of a sports bike with forward controls. My son has one and it's totally different from my street bob 114. The bob has more torque and it come in under 3500rpm, the sporster s is high reving engine. He's at 2k miles and it's been in the shop for a total of 7 weeks for electrical issues. Yes the governor shuts it down around 135 mph.
