I have no clue why they didn't have rougeport as a smash stage, it's probably not because of the noose in the center of town or the fact that Nintendo pretends this game doesn't exist
TheAwesome GN Nick LoGrasso it is a sin that they don’t have a dedicated stage to TTYD, but there is a stage that is called “Paper Mario” In SSB4 and SSBU that does feature RoguePort in it, but only the ship that is rode on to get to RoguePort. Alongside this, a section of the music track for that stage in SSBU and SSB4 called “Paper Mario Medley” features a remix of the RoguePort original soundtrack which is cool. Still deserved more than a feature...

I do hope they will one day make a collection of all the games in HD on the Switch or whatever they make after it, but it's unlikely. Like imagine all of them, 64, TTYD, SPM, SS, CS, and TOK all in HD in one. Like Super Mario All Stars but for Paper Mario.

Nice! This song and the underground city theme really stood out to me. Shame I never finished Thousand Year Door back when I played it a a few years ago. I find myself stopping right at the end of games and then never going back to them. Almost did the same thing with the first Paper Mario which I've nearly finished now.

I ordered Thousand year door a month back, got it next week, begun playing it and finally saw why people love it so much, (Chapter 3 still has me obsessed tho) I loved going around Rogueport and damn... The final battle against the Shadow Queen was intense, good thing I went all the way back to mix Ultra Shrooms and Syrups and bought a pair of Life Shrooms just in case (Left me broke but who cares!? XDD) And with that, I finally finished the original Trilogy of Paper Mario. Next stop, Origami King.

Aww, such fond memories. SS, CS, and frankly even TOK can only dream of being half as good as this masterpiece. It may seem unfair to grade TOK since it isn't even out yet, but the trailer alone is enough to show that it's just an enhancement of CS, which itself was an enhancement of SS, and none of those can even hold a candle to TTYD or even PM64. Why is Nintendo so afraid of the legacy of the original PM trilogy that they can't continue it or even acknowledge its existence with a remaster?
It is slightly faster. I sometimes round the tempo to a more NES friendly value (a complicated limitation, but there’s probably wiki articles about it).
