I have the 100mpx version of this and I am still confused as to why no-one makes a dark slide to protect the db once the sensor is exposed? - it is a brilliant landscape camera but when I am on location I use a dark bag to change the lens - and even then....... How easy would this be Alpa/Cambo/Sina/Arca/Swiss/Phase one/Hassy/Leaf and anyone else?
You're welcome! Strobes are triggered via the PC- port on the digital back. This port is dormant while the back is connected to a body with electronic contacts. When no contacts are present, this port is activated and ready to fire. If you go to 0:55 in the video you'll see where the 8-pin port is located. The PC port on the back is located directly under the 8-pin port.
Love this! Very helpful! Hope to see more soon!!
Also to get the absolute best DOF I use Hyper Focal distancing - and it the sharpness from front to back is off the charts
Don’t forget to insert the furbinzork cable into the yaya port and click on the dinklefunk switch! 😆🤟

dark slides are old style, it doesn't come with a plastic cover for the sensor?
@@Robert_Gonzales Sometimes old is best.
@@geofflongford2008 it would create extra space between sensor and camera, camera backs would not be consistent
Wonder if Kai watch that video before making that fail shoot :D
Ha! Right? Do you think it would have helped?
@@MegaPixelsDigital It would not have helped.....
Can f5 film mount phase one?
Thanks Zak, how do you fire a flash when using the Alpa indoor for Real state shots? please
You're welcome!

Um, why should anyone choose this over using a digital back on a view camera?
Well, maybe you don't need movements?
Never do this outside your home. This is the deepest mistake. Dust! Indoor only. And never change the aperture if the shutter is already cocked!
The aperture is not linked in any way to the shutter?
i kind of know this voice... ;)
So much money. I do not get why they do not build in a tilt option for that amount… Only shift…
You are right, they should have put that considering the price
