    Hi MItch! Well I’ll be darned! You CAN use a stump bucket for grading. Well done! I didn’t have an appreciation for how badly some of that trail leaned until this video. That was some serious pucker factor in places!

      @MJADoingStuff  2 года назад +1

      Yep sure was 😁 👍 I noticed if you are looking down with the camera it is hard to see how steep the grade is but if you look down low and up a little it shows it better. I got some ideas for the stump bucket this winter 🥶 thanks for checking out the video. 😁👍🚜💨🍳

    That stump bucket is huge compared to others, but in this case it gave you great capacity for the task. Keep working on the mini-ex! Great job

      One thing you have to do is make sure you don’t overextend your top cylinders with this stump bucket that’s for sure. I’m hoping to get the mini excavator after I pay off the B2601🤞🤞😂 thanks for checking out the video. Have a great weekend.😁👍🚜💨🍳

    What a great job you did using the stump bucket to grade! And education we would call this transformative that is finding an effective use for something unplanned by the designers. Keep up the great work.

    Interesting use of a stump bucket. It looks like it did a great job. Once you run the box blade over the trail it will be really nice! Great job!

    Man oh man. The camera work was crazy good. Kudos definitely a new use for the large stump bucket. Maybe grab a blade and use the angle on it to move your dirt over from one side to the other. Great job.

    That was the tool to have for what you were doing. Worked great. Made that trail much safer. That didn't look like a whole lot of fun in the last video.

      Yeah Gary not as scary as you trip to Colorado, but it was a good lien. The stump bucket takes a little more work, but it works good. Thanks for checking out the video.😁👍🚜💨🍳

    I couldn’t tell how steep it was in your last video. Wow! It is much better now. Let it sit for a week , then hit it with the box blade and you’ll be good. I think I heard Jamie mutter something about getting you a mini ex for Christmas. But you didn’t hear it from me! Cheers!

    IMO your trails at these spots are too narrow in many places. You didn't give yourself elbow room to really work. 👎 The width doesn't need to be so big that you could drive a cement truck down there, but the path could be wider. You have a lot of spots where the trees are boxing you in on both sides making for pinch points. Ouch. This is especially obvious where you were trying to turn and negotiate the slope. Yikes! This situation made it a lot more difficult for you to scoop and borrow. My $0.02. With all the roots, the stump bucket seemed to be the right choice.👍 A regular bucket would have been most likely a disaster. Good luck on round 2 (and 3!) with your other attachments ... and more! (mini excavator) 👍🚜

      Thanks for your input. I am trying to keep as many trees I can but still get through. The trees keep the sun of the trails so hopefully less brush will grow on them. We also ride ATV’s on the trails so being narrow keeps the speeds down. Your right about not having much room to work😂 thanks for checking out the video and leaving a great comment😁👍🚜💨🍳
