Books are something I collect. You are correct, this game ticks multiple boxes. I love the recharging our batteries. It's as if the designer is one of us.
Game is good and look, even feel, cute and cozy but is solitary puzzle. I appreciate player interaction even when there is no backstabbing because this make game more fun and you can talk with other and discus their decisions.
Thanks so much for this walkthrough! It's very clear and engaging and genuinely makes you understand the game! I kinda wish you would finish the play-through; the stack of books in Jen's backpack begs to be placed in the correct rooms in the house :)
Definitly a game I will buy. The cozy factor comes across well while watching. I agree with you that Smirk & Dagger Games are developing interestingly.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are trying to build up our collection with more cozy games. If they have a bonus expansion with this, they really need it to be 'adding board game boxes to fit in my collection' ;) Other games where you gather cozy things is KTBG's Maple Valley, Creature Comforts and Café Barras
This is a great game for my wife, and a fine one for myself. There is one thing I dislike, though: where Rahdo likes that the player aid is on the board itself, I think that makes the board too wordy and thus the design too busy and less appealing. I’d appreciate it more with a cleaner design, and since the player aid is usually only really needed in the first game (or couple of games), the following games would be more pleasant.
Thank you for bringing this game to my attention, Richard. Reading is my other hobby so this sounds like it would be a wonderful fit for me!
The theme and aesthetic of this game are fantastic!

I was already sort of interested in this game just because of the theme - now I know I have to back it!! Thank you for a great play-through. :)
Backed it the moment i saw your vid!
Great theme ❤️

This game looks like a definite pick up for me.thanks for the run through, great spotlight on the game 😁

It's not a game for me, but I do really love the introverted energy system of needing to build yourself up to even go out.
Jen stole a hoodie from the shop without paying for it. lol
I miss the shuffling song :)
The game, however, is an insta-back... There is no way in hell that I will let a book-themed, cozy game pass me by
18:20 it's a Blue book, not a green book she's getting
I'm waiting for the sequel, a place for all my games... Which also sometimes you need to sell your games....#missedopportunity
You stole my comment! 😤 lol

I totally would have guessed you're an introvert who would rather stay in with a book
Easily smirk and daggers best game. Period.
