Keep wood and decor out of that tank Joey. They don’t need it. People don’t understand it. F it man. This is YOUR tank do what is best for the arowana and rays. God bless.
This is the best the ray/arowana tank has looked, and the arowana's color is off the hook. Don't mess with success. They're happy, you're happy, screw everyone else.
I think the rays look great in that tank! You'll never be able to please everyone, so I'm glad you like what you did with it too while still trying to compromise. You did right by Susan too. He was a big boy and couldn't have stayed in a breeder tank. You showed us just how big they can get, and that's what you set out to do with him!
Yes!! The gallery you have always really wanted is coming together! That tank is exactly as it should be. That black bottom just makes those rays and the arowana pop!
It would be really wonderful if you could stick with something for longer than 10 minutes. Really like the gallery Joey but really do miss the old school "king of DIY"
The final rendition of the 700 gallon is perfect. However, the Frontosa / Multifaciatus tank is my favorite. You mentioned building a big tank, I hope it’s another acrylic one at least as big as the 375. I can’t find the build video for the 375 and desperately want to see a monster acrylic tank build filmed in detail the way you build it. I understand the fundamentals of the pin method of glueing together but, wanted to see how you actually handle the larger sheets of acrylic and how it goes together managing the weight of the acrylic. Especially when gluing the main aquarium panels to the bottom sheet of acrylic after they’ve been glued together. Thanks for another great video Joey. Keep it up.👍👍
I think you made right changes on the stingray tank. It looks awesome with the trunks and green vines. The bottom is just fine no sand. All your tanks are gorgeous. Love your updates, been a fan for years. 🐟🌿👍😊
I just love how you filmed the process of decorating the aquarium, when its doesnt look good, change it again, again, til it fit in your eyes and the fish. Same in here joey. Well, i love when you shared the "honest" thing about this hobby. Process.
I'm glad you're making the gallery yours and not letting it take you over. I've been watching since you did the wall aquarium in the house. Glad you're back Joey
Set the tanks with what is best for the fish to keep them happy and healthy. That said, I've really come to like the bare bottom look, especially when tiles are in place adding color while being able to clean the tank easily. (I plan to do a large goldfish tank that way.) In the end, you do you, Joey. Haters gonna hate after all, but I think most of us are here for the fish and the information you provide. Thank you and have a great day!
The thing is, beautifully scaped tanks and monsterfish do not go together. You gotta choose one or the other. Classic aquascaping fish, like cardinals, angels, rummynoses (etc) are popular for a reason. When post people try to reinvent the wheel, it usually ends deaths or rehomings.
Hey big man you really do have to stop worrying about the comments the fish room is yours you do as you please people will always moan about looks but who cares you do a superb job in displaying the tanks and fish just do as you'd want and let the haters hate you'll always have your loyal fish family to say what an amazing job you have done and are doing keep going man
The animals wellbeing is always the most important. The scape doesn’t matter if the fish are not happy. I’m glad the tank is doing well. Sure I’ll miss seeing Susan, but the happiness of the community is the top priority.
Thank you for doing all this hard work you do, it really lightens up my day when I see what you've done and makes me wanna get a house so I can have more tanks and more fish too. Keep up the good work fella.
I really like the 700 gal tank. The final setup looks fantastic. You know Joey that there will always someone who has an opinion and thinks they can do it better than you. This is your gallery and you must be true to yourself and what you believe in. That shows in all the different ways that you tried to setup the tank to appease people, because you finally did what suited your fish and what was best for them and made them happy. That is who you are, the person who knows what is best for his own particular tanks and the occupants. Enjoy the tanks Joey they all look great. 😀🇦🇺
LOVE this newest look for that tank. I think you're right when you says it's the best version yet! Also, thanks for showing all of the iterations! It's good to see how you'll try so many different set up ideas to make it right for the needs of the fish.
The tank is perfect. It must have been a little hard to say good-bye to Susan. Do what makes you happy. That is the magic about this hobby. Keep it personal. Don’t worry about appeasing the critics.
I think it was a beautiful conclusion. I know I'm just now trying my hand at keeping largish fish and the big thing like you said is the balance of what you like visually to what your fish likes, tolerates, and what they don't like. As well as making sure it is easy to maintain a safe environment for your fish species. Your fish look happy and safe. And the tank looks good.
Personification and anthropomorphism at its finest. Thank you for being you Joey. You’ve inspired me to get back into the hobby. I’m cycling a 6 US Gallon Nano tank for a fighter (or a few females) at the moment
Yep you did the right thing for Suzan.Iove all your tank designs. Each one has there own look. Not stark anymore. The forgot tank(leased shown on youtube.) Is now looking amazing . It great that you consider your aquatic friends well being when you make a scape. And not just do what suits you. After all its their home. So they have to feel comfortable , and not stressed out. Not everything can adapt to change.. give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done. Can't wait to see what else you have in store..
Personally I love learning especially the "why I do/did this". It helps because you at not only informing us but also sharing experiences. Experiences are valuable because they give adaptable information.
Sad to see Susan go but the end result proves your reasoning. Also, the 700 might just be my favorite scape. So simple and elegant yet incredibly functional
I honestly didn't mind the tiled look, perhaps going with something darker would be more beneficial for the arrowana's coloring? My mindset would be do a scape 100% or do what's going to be best for the fish you're keeping. And if bare bottom is what's best for your fish I think the subscribers will understand/get over it.
Susan will be missed but you did right by all of them 💕
Keep wood and decor out of that tank Joey. They don’t need it. People don’t understand it. F it man. This is YOUR tank do what is best for the arowana and rays. God bless.

agreed
Sad to see Susan gone....
But the tank looks awesome
I am very surprised you re-homed Susan! Was wanting to watch her get bigger and bigger!
The new set up looks great! The vines really go well with the branches! 👍🏻
I never minded the bare bottom of the ray/arowana tank. It was like that for a very good reason. Never let youtube reactions cloud your own judgement.
All that really matters is that the fish are happy, but the fact that the tank looks absolutely phenomenal is a really nice bonus!
All tanks look amazing 👏
Love the new setup with the Arowana tank.
Oh man i love the final look! The trunks and touches of green, holy moly.
This is your best tank for sure! I absolutely love it. Simple and focused on what is important
I really like the way the tank looks now, and the fish all seem to be happy which is most important!
The 700 looks awesome Joey absolutely love it 🐟🐟💯
That gallery is looking way better than it used to keep it up Joey
the Arowana / Stingray tank is awesome!
gonna miss susan, she was the most interesting fish since Frank but I am biased because we shared the same name
Everything is looking good, please put a massive school of corys in the 2000g, that would look incredible
Or as he says phenomenal
Agreed
Yes!! The gallery you have always really wanted is coming together! That tank is exactly as it should be. That black bottom just makes those rays and the arowana pop!
The tank looks perfect! Enjoyed the many steps...lots of work...The design of the wood/plants give the tank so much depth; Perfect!
It would be really wonderful if you could stick with something for longer than 10 minutes. Really like the gallery Joey but really do miss the old school "king of DIY"
Perhaps a small group of powder blue dwarf gouramis in the tank with the cherry shrimp? So then there's still a gourami in the gallery.
Mattia Barresi those will go after shrimp
Males can be very aggressive towards eachother.
@@yannachka I have kept them I only ever noticed them going after the baby shrimp occasionally.
@@Ryan-hh4yv that's why I suggested a group which would work similarly to cichlids so then the aggression is spread out.
The tanks are looking absolutely phenomenal at the moment.

The 700 looks absolutely phenomenal👌😂
Joey intensely looking at the clown fish and saying "also I have a clownfish herium now. Anyway!" Killed me 😂😂😂
All the tanks are looking great.
All your tanks look absolutely phenomenal.
I think you made right changes on the stingray tank. It looks awesome with the trunks and green vines. The bottom is just fine no sand. All your tanks are gorgeous. Love your updates, been a fan for years. 🐟🌿👍😊
The gallery is looking phenomenal!
Goodbye Susan! We will miss you, enjoy your new home. You made the right decision Joey. I'm glad you put Susan first 💕
The 700 looks..... absolutely phenomenal 😂
The tank looks great! I want something like that
Tank looks beautiful all your tanks look beautiful
All your tanks are looking so dialed now. You really have stepped it up big time!
I just love how you filmed the process of decorating the aquarium, when its doesnt look good, change it again, again, til it fit in your eyes and the fish. Same in here joey.
Well, i love when you shared the "honest" thing about this hobby. Process.
I might have considered a darker tile option for the floor...
NO SUSAN WHYYYY ( Ik why ) BUT WHYYYY
I'm glad you're making the gallery yours and not letting it take you over. I've been watching since you did the wall aquarium in the house. Glad you're back Joey

Covering the base of the 700 with leaf litter would look incredible
Absolutely Stunning Joe! Love the change and I may try tile myself with my big guys!

Love the lack of hype and much more down to earth feel of your sharing here. Thanks for doing so much for all of us ❤️
Goodbye Susan :(
Love your tanks Joey. Been following you for years. And that tank you focused on......... PERFECT don't change it.
Joey, just enjoy your fishs. dont worry about updating us. i have to say, the "new" aquascaping tanks looking amazing!!!
It looks absolutely phenomenal 😀👊

My thoughts exactly! I learned a long time ago, you can't please everyone, so just be YOU! I think the tank looks fantastic!
Susan! O my Susan! Best of luck, I will miss you.
Every tank looks amazing now! And nice to see how arowana behaving. Susan will be missed but tanks are better now! Good job.
The animals wellbeing is always the most important. The scape doesn’t matter if the fish are not happy. I’m glad the tank is doing well. Sure I’ll miss seeing Susan, but the happiness of the community is the top priority.
Goodbye Susan. You were a favorite of mine but it’s for the best 😢
WHAT NOOOOOOOO
I actually really like the look of the 700 now.
Thank you for doing all this hard work you do, it really lightens up my day when I see what you've done and makes me wanna get a house so I can have more tanks and more fish too. Keep up the good work fella.
Wow, the beginning. And I love your way you set up yours tanks, my guppies passed away last night.

Well said mate.
That new set up for the tank is amazing!! Excellent for the needs of the fishes but with a beautiful and organic feel. Love it!
The Uaru look awesome! Feels like a professional zoo setup.
I loved the trial and error. Seeing the process of arriving at a final result is fun.
Joey, I haven't watched in a while and I must say you have really stepped up your game I think. Each tank looks superb!
It would be great if you could show us the archerfish feeding. Great video.

The 700 is looking awesome... now leave it alone!! 🤣

JOE!!!! I love the ray/arrowana tank! Seriously groovy.....or, to quote a wise man, "absolutely phenomenal"!!!
i like the tiling on the 700 actually

Absolutely stunning man. Perfect setup for the Arowana and stingray. Amazing 👌🏾
The ray tank was fantastic before, and just positively phenomenal now!
Looks absolutely stunning!
This is the best the gallery has ever looked! Super jealous!
700 gallon is absolutely phenomenal😍😍
Love what you doing with the tanks. Doing the right thing for the fish first over the aesthetics makes for a healthier gallery
This tank looks fantastic!
Tanks are all looking incredible!
SUSAN NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Best the gallery has ever looked!
Oh wow those trees look amazing in that tank xxx
Sincerely the King of cleanest tanks. Consistently.
