The series follows Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione's quest to sit down with the folks who inspire him most-from The Flaming Lips, to Bert Kreischer-for off-centered, educational beer tastings. Sitting down in Good Mythical Morning HQ, Rhett & Link challenge their palates with a beer made with human saliva, a super-charged stout, and a very special sour-beer experiment.

My own lambic I made. The entire top of the beer was covered in mold before bottling. Highly recommended

That's Sam for you. He's been the same down to earth, stoked brewer for 25 years. He was there with Sierra Nevada, Stone, Anchor pioneering craft in the 80s and 90s. But I think Sam uniquely approached beer as a global community from the start. He's first and foremost a beer geek.

That dude's knowledge of beer and ability to describe it completely excuses his over the top "bro" personality, making it almost ironic.
I mean he can describe it so well because he's the real deal. He founded and built Dogfish from the ground up. So yeah he's gonna know brewing inside and out, from the perspective of a home brewer, to a fledgling brewery to a giant craft brewery.
Also he's not putting on a gimmick as far as his personality goes. A friend of mine worked at his brewery for years and what you see is what you get haha
He’s not an over the top “bro”. He is the original bro (the bromister if you will) and all other bros after him are just a diluted version. Haha

There's a fascinating Ear Biscuit where R&L dive into censorship and audience (don't remember the name unfortunately), and they said their content isn't geared to be explicitly family friendly at all. But I agree that it's nice to see them loosen up and have a more adult theme to a vid :)

I’m a huge fan of fermenting different food and drinks, and i think it would be cool to get a beer mixed with kombucha tea. I’ve had kombucha mixed with hops and grapefruit and now it’s one of my fav drinks. Hopefully this can give you some cool ideas!
