We drove across Ohio today, and every time we stopped I was wearing my #musselburghhat while knitting on my husband's Musselburgh. It was definitely knit-weather today. 😀
Knitting and reading are my favorite ways to spend time! It's nice to find a podcast that combines them :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts about what you're reading and knitting!
Hi Nikol! I love that you’ve added more to your podcasts, you have many enjoyable interests. Congratulations to the two winners! 🥳🎉 See you soon, can’t wait to see your topic for Simple Living. 🌷🌸🌻🌹
I enjoy your content. Even though we don’t have the same taste in books, I like hearing about what you’ve been reading. I was actually excited about the change in your channel because I really loved your vlogmas videos. I am knitting little tiny sweaters for Christmas tree ornaments with Palette yarn. Thanks for a lovely 20 minutes! See you next week!
Thank you, Lynette! ❤️I too watch other book tubers who read different genres than me. I just like to hear what other people are reading! 🤷🏻♀️ That sweater ornament project sounds fun! I should think about starting some ornaments sooner than later…thanks for the inspiration!
I don't understand the people who will unsub if there is content they aren't interested in. If a video goes up that I'm not interested in, I just don't watch and then when the next one is something I am interested in, I watch. No big deal. Why miss out on what I do want just because there might be some that I don't?
Hi Nicole, I have been watching you for a while and I love your podcasts.....love all your ideas and your inspirations. Your thought processes are inspirational! so I don't think you should care if viewers left....that is their loss. And variety is a good thing! so thank you. Love the color of your hat too....I just started one and got ideas from the knitty knatty for different variations for the Musselborough with ribbing in the middle.
Knitting dark colors are hard! My husband picked a black tweed yarn for a sweater, that was patterned....sigh...it took forever to knit! I look forward to your podcasts, see you next week!
I’m enjoying the various topic videos, as a fellow reader, knitter, and minimalist. I’d really like to learn your body butter recipe. Thanks for all you do
Hi Nicole! Yea..bummer. That blue does have the orange which doesn't go with the pink. It would bother me too. But you found a solution just the same so good for you! Oh and I just got the book "Take My Hand" from my library and am going to start it tonight. Have you started it? Great knitting video!
I prefer to grab that extra skein. I'm short, have shorter arms and am short waisted, so usually knit body and sleeves an inch or rwo shorter. I also gauge swatch. UT how can I do a gauge swatch to guesstimate how much yarn I'll need unless I buy the yarn that I need?!? Even if the pattern says I'll need 3.15 skeins for example, I could get away with just 3. However, even when I meet stitch gauge, my row gauge has been off, both too large and too small, depending on the yarn. So I say get that extra skein. I like to keep the extra skeins for other projects like hats or shawls etc.
Regarding the vest knitting, have you tried using a neck light? My husband bought me one on amazon. The brand is glocuscent and it's brilliant for night time knitting (and reading!!)
2 of my biggest joys in life are knitting and reading. Finding others who enjoy both makes me so happy❤
I love ALL your podcasts- thank you for sharing yourself with us!🙂🙂🙂
