My heart just sank when you wanted to talk about your channel. Lately that has meant that a podcaster is taking most of their content over to Patreon and unless we agree to pay a monthly fee then we aren’t able to see it. My husband is retired, I’ve gone through cancer, my hubby was very ill and we just don’t have the money to pay a bunch of Patreon fees. I’m so glad that you are adding more content but keeping it on RUclips. All of you addition sound great to me Nikol. Thank you. ❤️🌸🌻🌷

sounds great to me, i love watching multi-craft podcasts there aren't that many, and seems like people actually get upset about the podcaster talking about things other than knitting or whatever specific. ... love it all, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening, reading, baking, watching people open their gifts, acquisitions etc. art is also another topic.

I have seen about swishing with coconut oil and that it’s good for gum health. Going to whip up some of my own toothpaste.
Omg, what a terrific episode. Your knitting organisation gift pouches, etc are beautiful and inspiring. I found your podcast last year, I don't remember when. But, I like to go back and watch earlier episodes when I find a content creator that I enjoy because I think it's fun to see how they started and the growth of the channel. I have a window (separate from the one that I keep my email and some other tabs open in) that has all the RUclips channels open in it that I like to watch whenever they have new content. Yours is one of them. I love all the new stuff you're proposing for the new year. Regarding husbands and gifts, I also am not comfortable asking hubby for things I'd like to have. He's great at noticing what my interests are and gift shopping for me based on that. This past Christmas was the first time, probable ever, in 31 years of marriage that I actually sent him links to several things I really wanted either for Christmas, my bday in March or Mother's Day. Of course he got two of the one's I most wanted for Christmas (a good quality ball winder and the Palmer Co. Whimsy Sock Subscription for 12 months). He spoils me all year, like you mentioned that your husband does, so I hate to ask for stuff and just buy them for myself on occasion. But, it was so fun to watch how amazed he was by the ball winder. When I told him how long it takes to ball a skein or hank of yarn versus just a few minutes with the winder and my swift he couldn't believe I'd never told him I wanted a winder before. He's so cute! LOL I love reading, too; looking forward to your picks cuz they are right up my alley, love the toothpaste recipe (will def be trying that), and you'll have to share how you like the Tanis Gray Harry Potter Knitting book; I bought her Nightmare Before Christmas book and cannot wait to make my daughters some cute stuff from it cuz we all love that movie! Do what makes you happy and we will all enjoy whatever that ends up being. Here's to a wonderful 2024, see ya 'round the RUclipss. :)

I’m so excited for all the changes you are proposing. I have always loved so many different crafts and doing things at home and from my home, but I have always been conflicted if trying so many different things was too much or made me not good at anything because I never specialized on one specific thing. I love knitting and love that it’s is so portable but as I get older I’m giving myself permission to like and experiment with other things and I had decided to also start introducing other crafts and practices to my life and my channel. I will for sure join you on your adventures and hope to be able to follow on the book club also. I’m very excited to see what you will do this year my dear friend ❤👏👏👏💖

I’m new to your channel and so happy to have found you. I’m a huge advocate for simple and minimal living. And I was so surprised to hear that you make your own toothpaste too. I’ve been using this same basic formula (minus the Xytol) for years and I love it. My middle child was poisoned by regular toothpaste years ago and it was very eye opening. It took him weeks (scary weeks) to get it out of his system. And not only is it healthier for you but it’s also so much less packaging to end up in land fields. Thanks for sharing and I’m looking forward to going back and watching some of your other videos. ❤

All these creams have additive’s not good for us and makes our liver work so hard to pass these chemicals

Could you tell us how you use your bullet journal and especially how you do your collection pages (you mentioned knitting, one on prayer etc). This is my first year and it was another knitter that I learned about bullet journaling…..she keeps hers very simply but I’m so intrigued to know how you do yours.

I’m curious about the purpose of the xylitol in the toothpaste?
It has been shown to prevent oral bacteria and reduce inflammation. Definitely do your own research, but I personally use it in place of fluoride in my oral routine.
I love the idea of homemade toothpaste! But I'm allergic to coconut (ingested). Any suggestions for a substitution?
Hi Jessica! I have not tried this, but there is a recipe using arrowroot powder instead of coconut oil.
