    Nice work. I'm glad I'm not the only one who oils the kilties. I could watch this one over and over again.

    These are really cool boots!! Which leathers are this pair of beautifully aged boots composed of? The combination of black pebble and brown domain leathers?

      They look like the brown but I think he bee waxed his brown wescos

      I see he had the black but over time while wearing them he would use a light sandpaper while oiling his boots

      @@jasonmiller9495 Thank you for your response! I might miss your point, but you mean that the original color of vamp & counter is black. Right?

    Just want to confirm that these boots are CXL and not oil tanned leather. Is that correct? Wesco makes both. Would you use these same products on the oil tanned leather? I've read on oil tanned leather you are only supposed to use oil and grease, not leather cream. Could you please comment on that?

    Can we know the products that are used??? Sanding rough out leather with what grit? Recommended brush type bristles ( horsehair, nylon?} Anyone? perhaps someone will recommend a complete boot care vid.? Thanks boot people.

      I use an agave fiber finger nail brush from the local hardware store to clean my roughout boots. It does a great job of making them fuzzy again. I've never used sandpaper before though.

      The dark brown leather on the bottom looks slick. I think he was fixing some tears, nicks and scratches. Just smoothing out the finish.

    Where's the part with the old an beaten boots? All I saw was a pair of not even broken in boots and the soles look like they've never been worn off of carpet.

    • @jonfetzek3053
      @jonfetzek3053 3 года назад +1

      Nonsense. These have been resoled at least once; they would have stitches through the soles from the factory.

      @@jonfetzek3053 Mine have been resoled and have stitching through the soles. Apparently you've never seen a worn pair of boots. The only job these job masters have ever had is going to cocktail parties.

      There is a MUTE switch icon you could easily use to the left bottom. It is up to YOU to
      turn the music off, so your complaint is without validity. You could also keep your
      comment to yourself. The world isn't waiting to hear your emotional complaints. It
      does respond to logic!!
