That depends on 2 things... what's your waist size an what look are you goin for. If you are anything close to a 38 a 38 ricky will definitely be somewhat loose and relaxed but if you goin for a slim fit check out the moto style jeans in that size.
New Trues suck. I will only buy good condition used ones nowadays. You shouldn't be spending $250-300 for a pair of jeans MADE IN CHINA. The older Trues have a MADE IN USA logo near the back tag. I spent $60 on a MADE IN CHINA pair a few back during a sale and those things were such bad quality. Stick to the MADE IN USA only.
