@@BentleyHouseMinis I so love this, I have a extremely hard time doing the conversions on these from 2d to 3D , I’ve been so wanting some booknooks and yours are so understandable and doable!! Thank u so much!!! I REALLY REALLY HOPE U WILL DO MORE BOOK NOOKS , any kind!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🤞🙏🤞
It looks absolutely amazing! Seriously, when one thinks it's cardboard boxes and hot glue...OH MY GOODNESS!!! What a talent you have. Thank you for sharing it with us. Smooth and safe travels next week, stay safe!
Maybe when you do have time you can finish the outside of the project you could different hardcover versions of The Alice in Wonderland book to the sides?
I've made a load of cardboard furniture, I think I need to have a go at making a book nook. It'll be nothing as good as this, but worth a try. They're so magical.
Good call on making Alice❤️ The lighting and Cheshire cat is my favorite 😻 I know lighting can be frustrating. This was great! Thanks and good luck with the class and set up at the museum 😊
I found your channel looking for miniatures diy , because I have figures and dolls I d love to make houses or rooms for . But I have to tell u that im in love w everything because its all the dark characthers I loooove .... It was a surprise for me ,.... while every1 is with princesses and pinky or country stuff , u r doing what I love , Beetlejuice , The Addams .... and now this Alice , like in the game ..... You rock
Those lighted mushrooms were the highlight of this wonderful book-nook. All of it was just delightful and a pleasure to watch you create. Just subscribed, and eager to see more.
Hello! Hope all is well with you and your family. I just have to say your channel is amazing I love all of the projects you do. So interesting and creative. Thank you for all of your hard work. Can not wait for the next video. Much happiness
I would probably have started with cut lights. If you burn the ends of the wires with a lighter, you bare the copper wire. Then you could just solder wire onto them outside the nook. You are so inspiring. I am definitely going to try this. 😍😍
WOW!..I love this..It look amazing with or without Alice.I loved how you did the transition and the check floor was a brilliant way to pull your eyes down the hall.Of course the Cheshire Cat had to be included ,clever way too.I am always amazed with what you can do it bits of card and glue lol!..Of course all of us were screaming out finish the outside.Not!..We needed to see Alice in there .It’s such a joy watching you creating your pieces of magic ..Love n Light 🥰
What a wonderful way to start the day! I love this , Alice is also a favorite of mine, a real work of art. Lewis would approve I think. I learn so much from you, great teacher! You don't have to trash those lights, just solder them.
Aw. Man. My heart hurt when you snipped that wire. It's always frustrating when you have to do something again. But your persistence was SOOOOOOO worth it! All the little details in here are so fun and clever. The rook, the Queen of Hearts on the wall. But my favorite has to be that vine with the tiny tiny little cards growing out of it. The wallpaper you chose fits the scene very well too. That Cheshire Cat smile is BRILLIANT!!! What a fun technique!
Thank you!!! Alice in Wonderland has so many iconic imagery that it was fun to try and figure out how to fit the most into the small space! So glad you enjoyed the video and project!!😊
I too reacted the same way as Sean from Dolphin Magic when you took apart the electrical because of that cut. It is so easily fixed. It won't come apart if you superglue or solder. What a shame. Love the nook, as usual you used your wonderful and inspiring imagination to create a fantastical miniature. I watch them as soon as they come out and am impatient all week as I wait for the next one.
My daughter’s 1st birthday is in November and we’re doing an Alice in Wonderland theme-a very merry unbirthday party, if u will 😉😂 Great job as always Ara, those mushroom lights were beyond adorable! I totally wish something like that existed, I’d love to have a couple for our garden area! 🍄❤️
WOW, you realy did a great job with the book of Alice 😊, you never disapoint keep up the beautiful work Ara and have a great week... see you next time :)
I am in awe at your creativity, talent, and love for making your wonderful miniatures. I always look forward to seeing what you do next. Thanks for sharing.
You are truly an inspiration. I always hear your words, "good miniatures take time". Glad you chose to make Alice instead of cleaning up the outside, she makes the diorama. Your skills keeps improving!
Wow looks great in the bookcase. The stone wall was so really in the back. And the Cheshire cat smile is awesome👍. Thanks for a new type of miniature construction.
What a awesome book nook! Also thank you for all the advice I so needed it especially right now. I love your artistic nature and creativity very much. Thank you 🙏 for being you and your honesty with your learning processes. Hugs 🤗
I love it! So creative, and so glad you could fix the lights! I very much look forward to your videos ... best of luck with the Addams Family display and class! ❤
I love this Ara! Your imagination and creativity knows no bounds! These projects with all the crazy angles are fascinating! I struggle working with angles, but I do persevere! Congratulations on having your Addams Family Dollhouse on exhibition in Tucson! That is so awesome! Can't wait to see the footage! Have fun! Lisa
This turned out fabulously!!! I love love love it. (the third mushroom stem mold could be salvaged by making a cut down the inside, and tape closed for use and untape to remove item.) Also I adore the "ology" books. I have most of them.
Oh no I just felt the fustration of cutting the wiere , after working with the muschrooms for a long time, I just hate when something like that happens. And your advice is really good, it is almoste impossible to do anything, while fustrated/angry. Well I’m happy you did not give up, it turned out fantastic!! Super great and beautiful work as always!
I love the idea of a video all about finishing touches on projects. I rarely feel like finishing off mine. Watching someone else do it might be inspiring. XD
This was awesome. Love the shroom lights!! These little Ara creations are my favorite. Have fun next week, can’t wait for the video. It’s like a field trip! So much fun!! Be safe!
Thank you Robin!! I love these start to finish projects too! Gives me hope that I can one day finish these years-long projects lol! I will make sure to update you all on how it goes!
Thank you for doing this one. I love Alice, too, and seeing what you create is always so much fun. You do great hallways but all of the details in this one are phenomenal.
You have totally captured the essence of Alice In Wonderland with this beautiful book nook. I would love to see you make a Narnia nook, using The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe as inspiration. That would make a perfect nook because it starts with a normal wardrobe and then transitions into the magical world of Narnia, in the same way that this book nook goes from a hallway in an old house to Wonderland. I love that transition from our world to another magic world. Thanks for another brilliant video. Love from Amanda Jones in Australia ❤
Thank you for continuing to improve your crafting and video production!!! Not only did you make an amazing box room but you improved your video over and graphics. Can’t wait for the next update.
Oh my gosh this is such a beautiful book nook! I love how whimsy and magical that it looks. I LOVE the mushrooms! Alice came out nice too, overall this came out wonderful.😊
This is absolutly amazing great work I love how the mushrooms and chesire smile turned out and then the transition was supurb great work. Also I odly think a vid on finnishing the outsides of projects could be intresting you always have great ideas.
Thanks for the mention ☺️💖 we love our Mars 2Pro and isn’t the wash and cure station just so easy to use too! 🤩 Great project Ara, the mushrooms are fab too 😍
I think it would be great if you did videos on final touches call it final touches or the last brush stroke... And it can be a segment about finishing the project but I love the way your projects go and I don't mind that they're not always fully finished art is something that you can continue to work on and change as it suits you and you do so many wonderful amazing things
Again.. amazing. Simply amazing. AND... I really was at a loss for ideas of 'what to do next'. You have inspired me AGAIN, dear lady. It's BOOK NOOK TIME!!! XOXO
I am speechless. (I teared up a little when you accidentally cut that wire.) But this tiny thing is tops on my favorite from you list. I'm not a fan of 3-D printing for miniatures but this one is still so full of thought. You really go out of your way to use normal stuff to create other stuff. Do you know what I mean? You see tiny things in normal sized stuff. You have a gift. 💞
What a cool build! It's got me thinking you can do amazing stuff even in small spaces, which is an important idea as I am just getting started and am a bit overwhelmed by the big projects I keep imagining... Thanks for sharing your lighting disaster. It's helpful to realize other people make major mistakes and still manage to get the project done. Besides, your mushroom lights were totally worth the effort.
Thank you! And I totally agree. I think sometimes small spaces really force you to push the level of detail because you have limited space but you want to make the most impact. It's a whole different puzzle compared to large projects! Both are fun in their own way :)
That was awesome!! Book nooks are what brought me to viewing miniaturist’s channels. I don’t know the game reference of Alice and I’m sure if I did I would be even more appreciative of the nods to the game, but it really is stunning. I can’t decide which nook I like better this or the abandoned room because they are both so intriguing. Thank you for sharing your talent with us 🙏
Thank you Audrey! I really do enjoy making these smaller projects. It feels so good to start a project and finish it within a short time span. The other projects feel like they take forever lol!
Ara, you make it look effortless. Whatever internal angst you experience is a secret you keep well. It was a bit of a sigh of relief to see the mushroom debacle just to know you really are human inside that shell of amazing talent! ❤️
This is such a wonderful project! Amazing work as always! I wish you hadn't thrown away the faerie lights! They are so easily fixed! Maybe I'll do a video on how to fix them in the near future! Keep up the great work! And as always ... have a better day!

Thank you George! I love that your passion for your Grand Obsession keeps you so focused. When you do get to those progress photos I hope you will share them with me!
Amazing . Very creative concept , always fun watching you solve problems as you build . Your mind must be racing constantly while working on so many projects at the same time .
As always, your videos are such a delight to watch. And it's encouraging to know that even you, as a professional. make mistakes. Thank you for sharing.
Seeing the thumbnail and intro shot i was like... hey.. is this alice madness returns? Im so glad i was right!!! I love that game (never have had the money or time to play it, but watched many playthroughs Haha 😅) so awesome to see this!! I really want to make one of these now.
Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite fairy tales. You definitely captured all of the feelings of the strange story. I love one scale going to the other! So well thought out and the execution is as always on point! 👏❤️❤️❤️
Your advice applies to so many things, not just your craft. Thanks for showing us it's OK for things to not work out and it's OK to make them work another time. Edit: this was extremely enjoyable to watch and the result is adorable.

It looks so good, imagine walking in an abandoned library and seeing a whole world between the books!
That would be awesome! Especially with them all lit up!
One of them could be the actual library again with Infinity mirrors going on forever.

Hi Aleean!💖
This is so so beautiful! I've played Alice: Madness Returns and you totally captured its atmosphere 🖤
Thank you Paola! That means a lot to me because that game is gorgeous!
yes, it’s a wonderful game. Just finished it for the second time. Life that world. The prequel is good too.

They are very fun!! And since its such a small space you can really focus on the details👍

Thank you Susan!! I appreciate that so much! I just love being able to give items a new life inside of a miniature!😊
Not a fan of 3D printing for miniatures either. Seems it takes away from the artistry. But, love this project!
I love this collab and project! Madness Returns and the first game are great.

I am so glad you made Alice instead of finishing the outside. I love your work!
I JUST LOVE THIS!!!!.. I never thought about book noks before... I am going to go crazy making some... Thank you for all your amazing Videos... :)
They are really fun! Happy building!!
I love how it turned out!
Quick tip: Beginners can make moss, mini grass or “flocking” by mixing acrylic paint to saw dust and letting it dry out flat.
As always, your videos are such a delight to watch. And it's encouraging to know that even you, as a professional. make mistakes. Thank you for sharing.
Perfect as always Ara my wife adores you and your work xx

Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite fairy tales. You definitely captured all of the feelings of the strange story. I love one scale going to the other! So well thought out and the execution is as always on point! 👏❤️❤️❤️
An old trick from model building. Use glazing putty (bondo) to fill gaps. It dries quick and is sandable and paintable.
You are so talented. This is beautiful.
Incredible, I love this so much. Alice in wonderland is one of my favs.
Thank you!
There is so much about this that I love but when you added the mushrooms and the little cards, it became magical!
I love love love the Alice book nook. The only thing is now I want to try and make one. Ara you are an influencer. 😁🥰🥰
