The Reformatory was my book club's October/spooky season read and I LOVED it. It's probably my favorite read of the year. Completely agree with what you said about not feeling how long it was at all. I love when a thicker book is able to do that. sn: I definitely flew to this video when I saw you on my suggested watches & you said you'd read 94 books!! I hope to be able to focus up enough to do that one year soon. Goals!

Yes….Book 1 through 4 is a bunch of drama… the sadness doesn’t really come until this one though. But you’ll enjoy the drama on the way LOL Just know that this series is strictly character driven and it’ll be like watching reality tv. 🩷🩷

Since you want to try fantasy, I recommend Sing Me To Sleep. A fantasy with people of color and it’s just a duology. One of my favorite reads this year. Also really love Kristin Hannah, she showed me the light in historical fiction, lol.

I am going to have to check out some of those books. I am currently reading Book 1 of Magnolia Parks. I like it so far. I am also reading Murder in the Family by Cara Hunter. If you haven't read this one, it's all multi media. It can be hard to read, so I have the audiobook to read along, but don't rely on the audio solely because you will miss some details.

I am currently listening to a love song for Ricki Wilde. I must say that I was not invested when I first started it. Now where I'm at...I need to know how their love is going to survive "the predicament" that Ezra is in...🤭(And yes ma'am, I will go get the Nightingale by Kristin Hannah soon as I get some gift cards from friends and family.) As for the reformatory, I will keep it on my radar for November next year.
