Black Cake was a really good book and I loved her style of writing. Things came along as the story was moving along, so her new book doing the same thing encourages me to read that as well. I had no clue she had another book coming out so thanks for that info.
My favorite 2024 reads were “All The Sinners Bleed”, “Silent Patient”, “Honey and Spice”, “Verity”, “The Midnight Library” and “Project Hail Mary”. It was a good year of books for me.
My best book of 2024 is a tie between Chain Gang All Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah and Cahokia Jazz by Francis Spuford. Don't ask me to choose between them. You can't make me do it. They're both as close to perfect as makes no difference. 2024 sucked in many ways but it was a great year for books. Here's to another in 2025! 🥂
I’ve heard about Don’t Cry For Me, but you’re the first to convince me to add it to my TBR. That algorithm is an eff boi - I’ve been subscribed to you for approximately a year i think & often have to actively search for your latest content bc it’s not in my feed ( or whatever it’s called on here) . Merry fn Christmas 😂 baybay 📚🪱💚
I’ll have to read Don’t Cry For Me at the top of the year! Sounds really good
Is this your home library? If so I am envious, it’s everything.
You have such a well balanced way of viewing books I love it.

I have both books by Daniel on my TBR for 2025. I’m glad to hear your thoughts about them.
I loved Don’t Cry for Me when I read it and didn’t know it was getting a sequel! I will definitely be picking it up.
