I am hesitating about visiting that island for our holidays in next January. Where is located that sandbank on your video (5:06) ? Is it reachable from Kudafushi ? What is your general feeling about that island ?
Hey there, the sandbank is about 30 minutes by boat from Kudafushi, we visited it during the snorkeling trip with Mantas. And Kudafushi island was amazing...beaches, sea, food, accommodation, staff everything was perfect, I can recommend it!

Which month did you go in? - we want to see manta rays as well. Is it from hotel beach or from a boat?
we were in February. It was a half day boat trip to see manta rays, but we saw one also close to our beach :)
