It seems you’ve been to a few different islands in the Maldives. How is the house reef at this one compared to the rest? Going in early 2023 and trying to find the best snorkeling (mostly in terms of a sea life over reef)
Thudfushi was the best by far. But Kudafushi has a good house reef too. I would put Kudafushi together with Angaga on the second place in term of the house reef.
The food is in comparison to other maldivian Islands in the same price class very good. You can compile your own tours by choosing between different destinations/goals (Dolphins, Snorkeling, private Island, Manta Rays...). But this Atoll is not known for special events like Whale Sharks or Manta spots with a lot of Mantas. Nevertheless Kudafushi is a very good destination in general in my opionin (I can compare between 4 different maldivian Islands).

Thanks a lot. Yes, to see Mantas or Whale Sharks you typically need to take a boat trip. Have a great time on that beautiful island.

I snorkel only and this was in March (best month for the Maldives regarding weather conditions and view under water)

I would say yes. They have a Kids Club and a pool.
