My condolences to you on the loss of your father. I lost my mother two years ago and this grief thing , it is a process. And your hair is not thin it is FINE. Thin hair refers to the density. You have thick hair, but your strands are fine . I know because we are hair twins at least in that area❤ It is true what they say that you just take one day at a time , cry when you want to laugh when you want to be sad when you want to it is your process and it will be different than anyone else's. Give yourself grace and love as you journey through this most difficult time❤🎉 My experience has been up and down good days and bad. It's been two years and I am doing OK. Not great, but not terrible. Not consistently sad, I definitely have many moments of laughter . I'm always looking forward to the future and accepting that this is a process we all have to go through. ❤❤

I have fine strands as well and know exactly the tangling you speak of especially when my hair gets long. I’ve found that the conditioner & conditioning process is definitely the key. If I can make a suggestion, it would be to use a light weight leave in conditioner after conditioning. I layer on at least 3 things before blow drying and flat ironing. The oil is weighing your hair down which is why it’s stiff and not flowing.
