    how about just switching to a new sim card within the same phone, but the new sim card has assigned a different phone number, will my iphone 12 pro max lost any data like photos and able to keep same phone number that already existed on my iphone 12 pro max?

      Your personal data is stored on the iPhone itself or in iCloud, not on the SIM card. Switching SIM cards will not affect this data. If you switch to a new SIM card with a different number, you can't keep your old phone number. But it is recommended that you back up all your phone's data first, just in case.

      @@higospot2995 thank you for responding so fast, the new SIM card has a different phone number but the new phone company does offer to let me use the new sim and keep the old phone number , I guess I just need to find out if my phone is unlocked first and then I can activate the sim card and keep my old phone number...i think?

    Cannot seem to transfer from iPhone 12 to iPhone 6s. Yes, I know I’m going backwards from a newer phone to an older phone but perhaps because the iPhone 12 has iOS 16 and the 6S has iOS 15.7 is the reason why the data transfer keeps failing. Backing up to iCloud is not an option because I do not have enough space on my iCloud in terms of the free allowance so the question is could I back up the iPhone 12 using iTunes on a computer and then switch that data onto the 6S? Or will I run into the same issue because the software is newer on the data transfer?

      Hi, if the Quick Start method fails, you can try to use the Phone Transfer tool in this video. Then you only need to connect both your iOS devices with your computer, and select what data files you want to move.

      You can transfer your iPhone data to a new device. But you'll still need to log into your FB after this because your password is saved on your social media account.

    Does it transfer the apps too?

    • @higospot2995
      @higospot2995  2 года назад

      It works for apps like Photos, Messages, Contacts and other built-in apps. For social media apps, it will help you to download and install the exactly same apps. You'll need to log in to your accounts after the transfer.

      Hi, you can sync your iPhone photos with iCloud or transfer the pics using AirDrop. If they don't work, try the Phone Transfer here. It moves data between iOS devices very easily: www.appgeeker.com/phone-transfer.html
