Hi Chris, another great job Of you coming in to repair someone else's mess. It will be another dredging job down the road now they know who to call. Thanks for sharing !😀 Stay safe and happy 😷👍🇨🇦 Craig
Chris - just wanted to say how much I’ve not just enjoyed but also count on your videos during this pandemic. Stuck at home it makes the day go better when I see normal still hap’nin.
I get a good feeling looking at a completed project even though I didn't have to do any of the work. In my own business my favorite part was delivering the complete job and getting back my signed invoice. Depositing the checks also gave me a good feeling.
@@ZanderKaneUK in my area - batch plants will give you a certain amount of time, usually 30 minutes to offload - after that you pay a premium - but that also depends on A, if you have a good relationship with the dispatcher, B, how busy they are - if they've got lots of clients with pours lined up - that truck needs to be on the road or they're losing money, they'll charge accordingly.
I like the video right when I start watching, Helping me remember to help out. I love watching these videos Chris! On the job, farm or in the house is always entertaining. Yay for not having that beeper going anymore either!
Now that's one I haven't seen on a skid steer I LIKE it nice job guys and as always a very nice looking job site after it's all done that is your signature from the crew of LETSDIG18 😎👍👍👍
We use a home made gravity feed pump for jobs like this. Feed the barrel and the 6 inch hose drains the concrete right into the job. Just remember to always rinse it out, not to mention names(Gus). :)
Lovely job. Can we have a followup video on this one please. Preferably when dam is full and we can see pipes working, Oh and we can check for leaks, lol!.
Have to add another comment here on your work. It is "Exemplary" in all respects. You always do the work as you Would Want it Done for You. That is all. Have a good day.
Another good job in the books . I like that concert bucket first time I have seen one . If you going to do work you gotta have the right stuff to work with
Rather a few drizzles fist so the grass grows. Right now, we are again in a dry spell. My flower pots tell the weather and they are screaming "water me". Next week, me may be in a monsoon. Never know in NC.
I love the “I’m first” people! 🤣😂🤣 there is like 5 of you battling it out! 🤦🏻♂️ A pump truck wouldn’t reach? Cool set up. Great work as always! I wish you would come to build my pond; you’re not THAT far. Lol. I’m going to pester ya for advice! 🤪👍🏻
@@mattywho8485 The skid steer attachment looks new, and I bet it didn't cost any more than a couple of pump truck hires. Skid steers are so incredibly versatile, it seems a shame not to make the best of them. Andrew Camarata has a skid steer concrete mixer and transporter, which must save a bunch of dollars with the property maintenance scale work he does. He also has pretty much every skid steer attachment known to man, but he makes serious money from his channel, and does not have a wife telling him she needs new curtains.
Well, I be damned !! lolol.. Man,That Concrete Bucket for the Skid Steer is on time now !! Lord , I sure could have used that way back in the day with some of the places we had to get concrete too...That's slicker than a Sureway Chicken !!! lolol... Looking Great as always Chris !! Believe you got that leak fixed proper now !! On to the next...Have a Great Evening !! Stay Safe out there....
A beating to see him every single dump of many..drop the concrete bucket back to the ground and wait to start back up when you get back with the small bucket.. entertaining... Always enjoy
Do you think that big chunk of cement that was left there from the old job was the previous crew just emptying the truck of left over cement? You sure know what you are doing.I enjoy watching you work.👏🏻👏🏻👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have dug out a lot of left concrete and such stuff so far I'm thinking they tried to do the same thing as Chris but the just threw all the concrete into a hole on the pipe and what was left over on top of that creating this mess
@@lw7212 the stuff on top was probably meant to be the bottom half of the anti seep collar, but they got incredibly lazy and just dumped it on top, is my guess.
@@lordhoho1 That was my initial thought, but when Chris showed the close up of the concrete "lump" there was re-bar visible so I doubt it was just dumped ,
Gonna be repairing a lot of pond dams and the likes so you guys can keep working thru this shutdown. I see what your boss is doing to keep you guys working.
Well it's not like you can put stop leak in the water bro. Needed to be done properly and you guys are just the ones to do it. Great job and a nice tidy finish too. Stay safe
You should paint the pipe where the concrete goes around it with roof seal “tar” so that it would have a good seal when the concrete dries. Just a thought. Love the videos. You do good work.
I'm a little tea pot short and stout here is my handle here is my spout. Couldn't help but think of that watching the Takauchi pour concrete in to the Yanmar bucket. Lol God bless
A teleporter is really handy for jobs like tha coz u can extend the boom right out over the hole and u can have a big bucket on it, I have a cat teleporter and I use it on most sites it lifts everything I need and can extend up to 20 metres out so lift up high
Did the cement bucket come with the skidster , who knew cause I sure didn't . And as always job well done and it looks good , tks for the videos cause it gives me something to watch on my ten hour breaks .
No Ramax in your fleet ? Not enough pipe work ? Glad all of us are able to work ! We have been killing it ! This is the weather we’ve been waiting on !
May be a dumb question but if there is enough water pressure on the dam can't it just work it's way around the new stop collars? It did it the first time..........
Love the comments on why you didn't get a pumper truck. I guess they have never priced out a pumper truck for such a small job. Surprised somebody didn't complain you didn't get a Sikorsky Sky Crane chopper and fly the concrete in!!!
Did you know that two different pop-ups showed up during your video? One did it for three times, Mid Tennessee Forestry something, and one for clothing. Just for your information.
I'm starting to think that Yanmar is a helluva handy machine. Might not be the fastest of the biggest or the most powerful but it seems to save the day the most.
At one point you zoomed in on the boom to film filling the concrete into your steam shovel. I thought it said Yamaha! LOL They don't make const equip. Smart move on the concrete bucket. Don't know if you bought it or rented it. I still like this one andrew has, you can mix your own or transport from a truck with agetator. Add water tank on top with pump and hose and you can add water or clean, or prevent drying when no trucks show. :) Nice Job! ruclips.net/video/z2kwKJHn0zo/видео.html
I would have druther seen the tamper going, especially on a Lord how many times fixed dam. It needed 100% proctor or more. I also noted yesterday their tampers foot is too small and Mike kept pushing it instead or leaning it back and just steering it as it travels on its own. We have laborers that can run a tamper with one hand. let the machine do the work as they steer. With that method we get 103% proctor.
2 or 3 rain storms you would never know anyone was ever there in the first place. A+ machine work! That grass will look damn near untouched
Only difference will be a full pond
Great, professional, and clean job as usual ! Kudos to you and Tim ! You are a great team. Impressive Chris !

Got to love how there is an attachment for every job.

Mark Conger well said. I could not agree more 🤟🏻
I love that setup on the Skid Steer to get your mud where you want it. It's nice to see a company that has it's shit together. GOOD JOB!
Just shows the difference between "cut rate" repairs and doing the job correctly!
I’m now up to date with your videos having watched 8 , one after the other , who needs TV , thoroughly enjoyed myself . Many thanks Chris .🇬🇧

That bucket come in handy. No matter how slow it was to get the pour done sure beets a wheel barrow. Lol. Great job Chris and stay safe my friend.
Show us an after pic of pond when full. Don't remember seeing John on the excavator before. He does ok.
Sure beats a wheel barrel and 5 gallon buckets.
Got to feel bad for the cement truck driver though, I wonder if Chris has to pay extra cus the slow off load? Or is it just part of a delivery?
Driver is paid by the hr he probably doesn’t care

that is a slick bucket. I think i know a guy who could use something like that! thanks for the video
Nice job Chris...I like the pride u put into your work it says alot about u as a person
I enjoy watching you groom with the excavator. Your movements are so smooth and gentle. Thank you for the videos.
Can’t be too warm Chris ? Uncle hasn’t got his shorts on 😉 thanks for the video 👏👏👏🇬🇧
More tea Vicar? That concrete pourer is like a giant teapot and your bucket the cup!

The minis and skid at work fixing what others had not; thanks, Chris.
1 of your good NC hard rain storms and that thing will b full by the looks of the other bells dumping into this pond. Looks great !!

I didn't know you could get it down to the grass. Your skills amaze me!...
As usual you provide the right solution for the problem. Great work.
What an amazing job. Loved watching this one. Cornwall UK.
Nice job chris . Looks fantastic now.very good sir
Good to see John slicing the concrete in around that pipe, other wise you could have water wept in thought , good job team

It's only a few yards, a pump truck would have been at least $600 minimum if not more.
Around here probably 750 to 800$

I wonder if they rented that unit for the day or what ? never saw them use that before !
@@SailorAllan I don't think that is rented, but there are a lot of skid steer attachment places that sell them. They aren't that much.
Thank goodness that was a mechanized process (except for the laborer in the ditch) because it sure was tedious!
A beating to see him every single dump of many..drop the concrete bucket back to the ground and wait to start back up when you get back with the small bucket.. entertaining... Always enjoy
You guys did an excellent job as usual.
Great video, Chris! I only wish it could have been longer! I hope you and the family are doing well!
that when one of those Engcon Tiltrotator come in handy tip concrete in

Very skillful work....cheers from Australia.
Finally a RUclips video with a concrete truck that is normal looking.
Just as I was wondering if your needed to pack in the dirt, you change buckets and pack in the dirt.
A jumping jack packer would have done a better job of compaction but that would require manual labor.
I would love to see a split screen of your hands working the levers.
Like to see it when the pond is full.
I'm a little tea pot short and stout here is my handle here is my spout. Couldn't help but think of that watching the Takauchi pour concrete in to the Yanmar bucket. Lol God bless

You got yourself a skid steer tea pot!
Excellent ending !!!
Looks like a nice job again Chris, leaks fixed 👌👍⚠️

Another very nice job
Well at least you got the truck right up to the pond. It could have been worse. Lol
The only thing that might make that concrete bucket handier would be a valve to close it off instead of needing to tip it back to stop the flow.
May be a dumb question but if there is enough water pressure on the dam can't it just work it's way around the new stop collars? It did it the first time..........

I wonder if the people who made the failed repairs ever find these videos. Nice job, Chris.
That ponds need to be cleaned up around the wor you did looks great it is the pond bad
Great job 👏
There is always a way to use a power tool.
Looks great done right too!
Was wondering why not build a chute out of plywood and framing to ferry the concrete faster without time skid steer could pour directly in the chute.
Thats a neat gizmo you got there👍
Non-stick grass, a good eye and a steady hand equals a happy customer....

Have you see the Shallow Buckett/ Sheep Foot Combo ?
Great video! What is the name of the fabric you use? I’m looking for some for a small farm pond I’m working on.
Is there a reason for using the small bucket for tamping rather than the large?
less surface area the better the compaction
Concentrates the force of the impact into a smaller area so it tamps better.
Great job! What size machine is that? I just love that quick hitch system you've got on it.
Are the anti-seep collars ordinary concrete or special mix.??
You should Compact around that pipe at least to the flow line.... I used to run an excavator.....retired....lol
Looks like just another day at the office for you fellas.. TG it isn't rainin......
Excellent video Chris! Do they make chute extensions for the concrete hopper on the skid steer? Thumbs up!
Sure beats using a wheel barrow!
That leveling bucket sure does nice work under the control of an expert operator.

Chris how did the job turn out where you had to use the long reach?
Chris, is it bad on the hydraulics to leave the concrete hopper up while you are placing the mix around the pipe?
Awesome videos I've almost watched every one so far...I would love to work for you!!
Strange seeing concrete mixers like that - (I am from New Zealand)
