- Hello photographers!
This is the last video of the GRIIIx series - a short about my street photography first steps using the GRIIIx. Hope you enjoy this little story and see my point of owning this little camera.
Sincerely,
Rav

Just bought the GRIIIx and found your channel. You have a unique take on creative photography and I look forward to channel updates. Thank you.
Thanks Paul! Have fun with your new GR and hope you’ll like the new videos 📷
Really enjoyed then GR videos, keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much friend ✨
Wow, what an amazing video! I need to go shooting more often.
Envy the trip bro! Great street snaps!

Great video!
Thanks man!
Nice video, nice work… I have also the Gr3X and it’s just amazing camera… beautiful camera 📸 and this is beside my Sony A7IV pro cameras… This camera is so enjoyable 🎉
Thank you! This camera is just pure joy - and sometimes a pain in the @#$, too ;>
My fellow space man. We are all here for a short while. Enjoy your passion. Share your experience with others. Have a great time.
Thank you friend 🌌 all the best for you as well 👋🏻
I take my GRiiix everywhere with me. Love the GR line and especially the X now that I can shoot at 40mm since 50mm is my preferred fov. ✌🏼
Same here man - GIIIx is like a keychain to me now and it seems the 40mm brings the 35mm and 50mm lovers together now 😅
@@DigitalRetro hahaha it definitely brings us all together. I am definitely a 50mm guy, but I really enjoy the 40mm on the GR. It’s a perfect balance I feel.
@@Holl.Mvrk. Fully agree - 40mm is the new black ;)
Love your attitude and outlook....also photos! Subscribed 👍
Great Video. Thx.
Thank you friend!
Great GR videos. Agreed that it's a huge shame that the video features are terrible. When I saw it had image stabilisation I was hoping it'd become the perfect pocket hybrid so I don't have to also carry a camera in my bag that's good at video...
I know Ricoh don't really focus/care about video - but they could really tap into a whole new market if they improved the AF and stabilisation. It wouldn't have to be best in class but "tolerable" would be a huge leap for anyone wanting to just shoot a few clips without reaching for a huge camera first.
It especially hurts when looking at your first video shot with it here - because you can see the untapped potential.
Thank you! Your videos have a great aesthetic.
Thank you so much for appreciation!
Great series on the GR. I have an older GR digital iv 10 mega pixel model. It has the built in flash : ) I Plan to get a GR IIIX soon, Maybe even the GR IIIX HDF. I was wondering if you could share where you got your lovely orangy yellow wrist strap? Thank you so much.
Thank you for the kind words! The GRIIIX is a better option imho, because it's got the built in ND filter and you can always put the diffusion if needed through the filter mount. As for the belt - it's a Polaroid orange belt - easy to buy on amazon or other platforms for like 15 bucks! Cheers!
Nice pictures. Looking forward for next videos
Thank you friend - see you on the next one!
Finally an interesting and realistic test! Thanks for mentioning the ridiculous battery life. You should know that in cold weather, the device will work for a very short time or not at all! When the GR3 came out, I wrote to Ricoh to discuss the problem. The few answers were standard. They don't take reviews into account unless maybe you're very famous with a RUclips channel. The most hopeless thing is that you can't plug in a powerpack and take pictures. In charge it is unusable. Finally, I chose the Fujifilm XS-10, a gem with its film simulations and stabilized APS-C sensor and 4 pre-programmed modes on the dial:)
Thank you for the kind words and comprehensive comment. Unfortunately I didn`t have the opportunity to test the GRIIIx in very cold weather - I actually hate shooting in cold and rarely do it😅 The coldest temp I shot with it was +3 degrees Celsius, so I guess it`s hard to judge. I really hate the battery life of GRIIIx, but the good side is that I can carry a spare that fits in my wallet. I guess my relation with GRIIIx is kind of a love/hate one. Still I really enjoy this camera. As for the Fuji, I always say: Fujifilm is always a good choice 🙃
Might actually buy the GRIIIx after watching those vids
You won`t regret it!🙃
Can you tell me what is the application that you use on your phone at 1:29? Is it help you for the aperture or the shutter speed before shooting? Thx
Hi there, this is Decibel X - i used it to measure the mechanical shutter sound level 🙂
Nice 👍
Hot take: I'd be fine if Ricoh got rid of the video completely from this camera. But I also dream of getting the flash back.
I`d made that trade too!
what nd filter do you use?
GRIIIx has built-in ND filter, so I suppose You mean the UV? I use the Marumi Exus UV filter.
Where / what is that camera strap been looking for one
Hey man - it`s the Round Orange Polaroid strap - I got it on Amazon for like 10 usd.
This video seemed more of an advertisement.
Mask On Nurse Marty
Ha I gotta tell Ricoh they better start payin 😂
