UFC at the time didn’t have a 145 division. the division was the exact same when they merged. so don’t make any excuses that they’re not UFC champions. It literally doesn’t matter. since if they would’ve merged into 1 sooner. Faber and Brown would’ve been UFC champions.

It’s funny how MMA works. All those years he was dominant, always rooted against him (because he destroyed some of my fav fighters). But these past few years I do nothing but root for him every time. Same with Weidman.

Conor didn't knock him out in the cage, but rather defeated him with psychological warfare. If Aldo had remained mentally strong, the fight could have been different.
Yo Jose is such a class act man, the wa he comforted amd encouraged lil bro after that masterclass was amazing. He knew what that meant to him losing and put a bit of fire in him.
This man is truly one of the best fighters of any generation. The ability that he has to avoid punches with head movement wilhe also being able to check kicks is something otherworldly, and to think that the guy has been doing this since the WEC days with only improvements being made to his game.
When compared to all the goats, none of them is so defensive good as Aldo. While Anderson had the head movement, he didn't check kicks as frequently. Jones on the other hand, by just extending his arms, would make most guys miss, but he would still get hit by fighters his size.
With Aldo, if you were willing to let it flow in a techinical way, without pressuring him, very few people would've been able to match him, and even fewer could've beaten him.

Aldo started a 6 knockout win streak in WEC when Khabib was fighting plumbers in Russia. Never said the guy is the GOAT, i said he was the best at defense.
Also, he has 10 more fights than Khabib. Take away the 16 bricklayers that the Eagle faced as his first opponents ant put there guys who were at the top of the division, like Aldo been doing since the beggining of the featherweight. Let's see if he is capable of keeping that record, then.

@@oz1633 they post fight night weights for the fighters cejudo weighs in on fight night at 150lbs which is average for bantamweight. Aldo comes in at 155lb at bantamweight so only 5 pounds difference .
