Really impressive strategy from Machida but even more impressive adjustment from Jones. Machida decided that he'll just eat the leg kicks and blitz Jones with a flurry every time. Once Jones got clipped a few times and picked up on that, he started faking the leg kicks and throwing left hooks before Machida could reach him on the blitz attempts
Machida is my all time favourite fighter and I loved how this was probably the best anyone has ever done in a round against Jones. But this really shows the levels above Jones is when he adjusted in the next round and ended it so brutally.
