“Do you work here” 😆 that was cute. Must have been their first trip. Day turned out be an amazing pin trading day when everyone started showing up at the benches. Also great trades with with subs too. I want to meet Mr Trivia. Every time you’re there he has a new one. He doesn’t seem to recycle his trivia and use ones over again.

I love both herc and hades I just think growing up watching them on vhs now I’m older seeing all these beautiful pins are super cool so you have kinda got me into pin trading even though I only have 2 pins 😔
So fake pins are either pins made on the secondary market that are not as good of quality as the ones Disney makes. So Disney has molds of what they want made. The company makes the number Disney wants then some how others end up made out of the molds but not as good of quality. Plus ones made for Disney are not always up to Disney quality. So they are not taken by Disney and those pins some how make it to the secondary market. People looking to save money and not knowing buy the fake pins and then trade with cast members getting good pins and leaving fake pins. The boards get full of fake pins because most of the time we don't want to trade for the fake pins. Disney does not sell fake pins but they trade for fake pins. so sad U.S. parks except fake pins. It is hard to learn how to tell all the fakes.
Hi! Paula explained it perfectly! But yes a lot of pins from eBay or Amazon bulk lots are fakes or scrappers. Some fakes out there are still cute to me and I’ll add them to my collection, but for the most part, 99% of pins on the pin boards are fakes or scrappers

Mr trivia is awesome!! He’s so cool. We actually saw him in his “Non-CM” form and he was actually trading at the benches before his shift!
