- This event was held the day after the official Disney Princess trading event . It was massive and so many vendors and pin trading amazing pin releases and awesome giveaways!

How did you get the newer version of the pinfolio show? Its only showing the old version on the website
@@tiffanychang1687 I live in Orlando and they mentioned on one of their whatnot shows a while ago and I went in store and got one, I think they never fully released - honestly not too sure because I haven’t seen them since
I feel the same way about some of these pin events, one table wouldn’t trade any pins unless they were AP/PP🙄 A lot of the tables were only selling which I don’t get at a pin TRADING event. Those PALM pins at $100 a pop?!! Girl I did the same thing haha insane
@@carolinec.28 glad! I’m not alone lol yesssss it’s a pin TRADING event! Ugh makes me so mad when the vendors are so picky like why be a vendor if you’re only wanting one specific character or only wanted mega grails for that just walk around yourself and make the trades lol

I do believe u should trade value for value. So $100 pin for a $100 pin but maybe u have 5 pins that equal $100. But yea a lot of ppl want the AP/PP
@@Whitney.DawnYT yeah totally okay to do value for value but for those pins that are $200, $500, $800 I mean no way am I ever gonna get my hands on those unless I’m able to trade multiples …. Idk just that specific event even though it was great to see all the California peeps there and those “big names” in the pin community there it wasn’t as fun as I imagined it would be
Hearing you talk about the pins, this was not like it was back in the early 2000s, so its sad to hear about this and how traders only like to trade higher for higher ..or just for money. You did get some great pins that you traded for! I really think you did well overall.
@@SarasDisneyMagic I agree I did get some great pins my main disappointment was that I wanted to focus on my ISOs and no one wanted to trade and then when I saw no body was trading for I what I was looking for I just starting looking for other things lol
Overall it was a great haul and great event - but could’ve been soooooooooo much better !
Hi Is! That was a great intro and helpful information on how you are organizing your pins. I had the same issue with the Elite bag from go pin pro. It holds so much, which of course makes it heavy and very uncomfortable. I'm seriously debating on bringing a cart type thing next time and just roll my pin books around. Though that can be tough in big crowds. I know what you mean about the traders not wanting to trade for lower value pins. It stinks since we don't have access to the really high value ones. I'm always surprised when someone is willing to do it. I guess we have to 'pay to play'. 😔 But you got some great pins, though not what you were looking for. Thanks for sharing the experience. 🤩

Yes the pin cart things seem so much better but also inconvenient when you’re bumping into people - so many pros and cons to all lol
I think my biggest disappointment with this pin event was because I knew it was going to be one of if not the biggest pin treating event in Florida thus far I was just coming in with the expectations of more people more opportunities to have great trades and maybe be able to get those mega grills that I’ve been hunting for … But every time I came across a rail of mine (which my grail’s aren’t that crazy just around $200 or less for the most part) everyone I asked, they either wanted a one to one trade or they just didn’t want to do lower to mid value pins for one higher value pen and obviously to each their own, but I just came across that a lot at the event and it was very discouraging… Then a lot of people were pushing to sell instead of trade for people were just looking for one character or one movie to trade and again it was just kind of in my opinion like why are you a vendor at a trading event if you’re not going to trade?

Omg I actually had bruises on my shoulders from carrying my regal around for the day 😂😂. And I agree - a lot of vendors wouldn’t trade or had there pins over market value trying to take advantage! I found one of my fav tables were the hosts Richard/Julie as they were some of the only ones who wanted to make a trade work, a high majority of the others just wanted to sell (which is a different world from the UK pin events where everyone trades no matter the value) x

I love Richard and Julie they come to play always! That is why they do the events to trade as many pins with as many people ! Love them!!
Oh god, girl I feel you on the back pack straps. When we took the Pinfolio max show (or whatever the old backpack's name is) I was HURTING so much. Maybe I packed it too much with pins the first day but I hated walking around with it loaded. One strap came undone and had to be uniquely fixed for the rest of the trip. I would love padding on the shoulders next time or use those park pal soft shoulder plush that hang onto bags. Nice haul, love that you were able to get some great new additions to your LK collection.

Ugh my shoulders were dying I think that also put me in a mood mot being comfortable all day lol I might consider doing the one strap the pinfolio pro window its smaller but can still carry a lot and it’s not a backpack so I can do one shoulder at a time or carry it like a briefcase…. Still thinking about it cause then I’d have to sell this one and that’s a hassle lol
