Guilty Gear has helped me destroy more friendships than make! I think this was an enjoyable video to watch. Out of all the people I have known over the past decade, I met most through gaming. Seeing such a similar experience now created a good moment for retrospection of all the exhilarating days with them.
What a beautiful story! I've only recently started making friends online, and it's different from school where you sorta make friends mostly because you're all kinda forced together. Obviously, those kinds of friendships can work out really well too, but there's something really nice about meeting people you found through genuine common interests. I feel like starting off making friends online allows us to open up more, because of that initial anonymity. You end up sharing things you wouldn't normally through face-to-face contact. This is great, because you really get to know the person before making judgements on appearance. This anonymity isn't always the case, and some people could always lie about themselves, but generally this has been my experience, and I hope I can one day meet some of the people I've met online.
It really is special and I tried writing my thoughts out on paper over and over but could never fully explain the joy and heartfelt nature of just being close to someone solely cause of games and meeting online. Kinda wild if you ask me, but I hope you can meet friends you made in person someday, it opens up a new chapter in your life even if it seems silly to say out loud c:
Dry Boners gang 4 lyfe! This is one hell of a vid man. Well edited and while being unscripted it’s really well said and thought out! I really can’t wait to hang out with you and Sporadik again soon bro. Boutta come in with those crocs on sports mode. I’m staying hydrated thru this indoor rainfall 🚰
