Oxtail is a favorite of many cultures. It can be cooked in so many different ways. In this video 🎥🎬 I’m sharing one of the ways I like to cook it. It’s not difficult at all just a bit time consuming because the meat isn’t the softest part of the cow 🐄. It’s actually very tough. Oxtail is the cow’s tail for those that don’t know.
The only tricky part of this dish is caramelizing the sugar only because you have to pay very close attention once that sugar starts to melt. A process I’m still trying to perfect. Keeping that burner low and slow is key 🔑 because once the sugar starts to melt it can burn 🔥 and if that happens you have to start all over. So timing ⏱️ is important. A little tip before I go if you have a pressure cooker that would definitely speed things up and you wouldn’t have to use the oven. Well that’s it for now.
