Dude ‼️ great video ‼️ I’ve been wanting this rack for good 2-3 years, and with this pandemic. I’ve not been able to crank out a good workout, this step by step video just helped me out this bad boy together by myself without the instructions in about 2 hours. Thanks ‼️
This video helped me out. One thing I want to mention is don’t be like me and over-tighten as you will crimp and bow the metal frames. I didn’t even realize it since I was installing this in the basement and didn’t have the best lighting. When I was finished I noticed what had happened. I think it will still hold up fine but just FYI...
i never comment on videos, but this one literally saved me from a migraine. the instructions that came with the rack are horrible. this video should be sold with the rack!
i bought this rack and i can’t complain about anything. the only problem i have is that when doing pull-ups i have to hold my feet up so that i can actually hang, if the rack was a foot or two taller i would prefer it but that would also take away from one of the values of the rack which is it’s short height that makes it good for older smaller basements. all in all i would recommend it, especially if you are shorter than 6’0”
Are the bolts supposed to be so loose? I feel like I'm doing something wrong here... the nut only screws in so far and there's a LOT of give even with the washers...
@@englerwhi finally figured it out... it's a hex bolt -> so what you have to do is hold the screw head with one wrench while turning the other end with another wrench simultaneously... it takes a bit of practice and you have to put some muscle into the first couple tightens, but they all went in that way and now it's tight/sturdy as a drum... hope that helps!
I know you posted this a long time ago, but do you have the rough dimensions memorized by any chance? Anybody know approximately how much space you need to set this up. My backyard is only about a 10’x10’ patio. Thanks
Are the bolts loose for you? i purchased one as well, and they are i guess too oversized for the assembly there is a lot of room when i put the nuts onto the bolts
There wasnt much movement for me. No more then normal, But I really snugged down the bolts and nuts too. All my bols and nuts matched and fit the holes in the rack. Does the whole rack move because of the extra space? If so I would contact the company and see if they can send some replacement bolts. But try tightening them down one last time before you do that. Hope this helps! let me know if you have any other questions.
Yes, I have had no problems doing pull ups, dips, squats, etc it has the option to anchor it to the ground. But I currently have 300 pounds of weights on it so it doesnt go anywhere.
Boss Queen just move the pull up bars and the piece it’s attached to to your height on the rack for dips. If you look at the squat holder you’ll see it has a spot to put the bar from the pull up on.
Good video. Been wanting one for our home gym. I got a Volt and it looks like it can all fit too. I live in the Pacific Northwest too. Tacoma WA Dick Sporting Goods has it on sale for $299. Did you do a video on it after working out?
You need to hold one side of the bolts with a wrench while you use a socket wrench on the other side. Hold the nut side with the wrench then use the socket on the head they will tighten all the way
Have you found any? Got my rack at beginning of June and the rubber has been completely destroyed. Plus the j-hooks just don't seem that sturdy. Was looking at the titan fitness x-3 for a replacement but I don't think they will fit?
Sir it is because one of the hex bolts has a built in nut on the inside of the blue bar that it connect to so you can’t use a washer for the other side only on the outside
Does anyone who has this have the owners manual with the manufacturers number? Our moving company lost the J Hooks and we are trying to get replacements.
This vid helped me out 100x more than the instructions..USE THIS VID!
At first are the bolts and nuts supposed to be loose ?
Just got mine the other day and I'll be setting it up, good instructions my guy!

Thank you I lost my instructions while moving and this helped out a lot
This Video was AMAZING. Thank you!!! Saved me so much time. The directions that came with it were absolute trash. Great video!!
Thanks for the help! I was lost before i watched this vid
your welcome! glad I could help!
This video was super helpful... the instruction they gave were trash I would've never figured it out without this video... thanks
Great video, my 14 & 12 yr old sons used your video to assemble our rack. Took about a hour & half from start to finish. Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks so much for this. Mine came without instructions and Dick's, Fitness Gear, and Google had nothing! This was super helpful.
Is there something special threading the nut on the bolt. Cause you twist it then it seems to stop with a lot more space. Thank you
Perfect video man! I followed each step and got it out the way quick! Thank you 💯💪🏾

really? i tightened everything all the way and i don’t notice any issues, where specifically do you notice the issue the most
skeet shooter Where the plates go onto. Also the small darker grey bar that attaches the front and back pillars. So far so good though! Unit is great.
thank you. worked out great. my setup came with one wrong screw size but ill just call. good job
Thank you! I just purchased this for my husband and we need to build it. Honestly, I was terrified the build would be terrible.
What did you do with the loose bolts? I found the 20s much too long with a lot more space and I don’t know that the wrench makes a difference?
Sending out a virtual high five! This video was a great help. Thanks
Virtual high-five Received!! Glad it was helpful! Your welcome
Good video. How is this holding up? A 3 year review would be cool.
Thank you for the video, it was at tremendous help, great job explaining things I really need that,I'm horrible with written directions.
No problem! Glad I could help. The instructions on this were pretty badly written!
Thanks for this video you led me to the promise land of assembly 👍
i never comment on videos, but this one literally saved me from a migraine. the instructions that came with the rack are horrible. this video should be sold with the rack!
Thank you so much for this video
Thanks for this video!! Opened mine up today and it didn't even come with those terrible instructions. Great video.
Thanks for sharing this
Thanks for this video. I just got this and will be putting it together this weekend...

Kevin Corbo same for me
Same here
Same here
Me with everything I put together. Might need power tools?
No you have to hold the nut side with a wrench then get a socket wrench on the head of the screw it will tighten up
my hex bolts don't screw all the way down so the whole frame is barely holding together, any advice?
Billy Millet I am trying to put mine together & I have the same problem. Did you figure it out? 🤷🏽♀️

Billy Millet ahhh thank you so much!! I’m not so handy, but I got it! This was really helpful!!
@@billymillet5593 dude, thank you. I was cursing this rack until I saw your post
@@billymillet5593 What type of wrenches did you use and what size? It states a box wrench in the instructions but doesn't say what size.
Directions sukd. Video was a tremendous help. Thx!
Thank you!!
This was a very helpful video. Thank you.
Thank you. This was so helpful!
Bro this helped me out so much!!! Thank you! LIKED & SUBSCRIBED
What tools would you recommend having ?
My bolts at the bottom are loose for some reason. I don’t want to move on did I do anything wrong ?
Mine didn’t come with a instruction manual, thanks man
This is the best !!! Thank you so much
Hello, we can't screw in the screws, what should I do?
Good stuff just bought mine.
Thanks so much for your video - very helpful!!!!

Wow awesome rack I wish I had the height for this rack I would’ve already bought it

pyrEX u take pliers and a wrench and have to screw every bolt tight
thanks so much both of you
Best tutorial thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Just built my rack, thank you so much for this video! The instructions were terrible!
Helped a lot. Thanks
Do you find the rack to be sturdy, including when performing dips, pull ups, etc? Can it take a beating?
Yes, I have had no problems doing pull ups, dips, squats, etc it has the option to anchor it to the ground. But I currently have 300 pounds of weights on it so it doesnt go anywhere.
@@livingpacificnorthwest1351 how do you do dips on it ? Dicks sporting good told me you wasnt able to despite was the advertisement said

Life saver❤❤
I have a question, would you happen to know the curved piece at the bottom part number # I lost the manual to order a replacement
Only issue I see as the plate mounts are so close to each other, bumper plates won’t all fit.
Are rack pulls harder than deadlifts?
What is the capacity of the weight bar holder, and pull up bar do you know?
Thank you! SO simple
Does the box fit in a regular car like Toyota Camry? Or at least a Honda CRV?
This is super late but the skinny box is little less than 7 ft so if you have folding back seats yes
Hey maybe you can help! I got the pro series 600 and trying to assemble but the bolts don’t tighten down
Did you get them to tighten? If so, how?
Please look at the comment from Billy Millet on how to tighten the bolts
My man!
Thank you so much for this video... I was ready to cut-a-bitch!
thanks a million
Thank you so much
Hey how long of a bar bell would I need to get?
What size sprocket did you used
This video is perfect!!!!
The two front pieces with the number on it. How do I get it to tighten. Mine is loose
Same here! I’m not sure how to get them tight.

Is anyone’s bolts extremely loose I did it by hand and tried using a socket set and it still was very loose
Yes. Nothing will tighten the bolts
You need to hold one side of the bolts with a wrench while you use a socket wrench on the other side. Hold the nut side with the wrench then use the socket on the head they will tighten all the way
Beast! Thanks bro!
Nice video.
How long did it take you to assemble the rack?
Did anyone notice wiggling even after tightening the nuts and washers? I’m like at the second part and it seems unstable even when using the wrench.
Yeahhh did you figure it out??? I need help
@@chazzfam6061 yea I realized u must hold both sides when tightening
What type of wrench did you use?
What tools is needed for this?
Tweezers and a hammer.
Why are the bolts loose for me
Can someone please comment what tools we need exactly ?
What’s the max weight capacity
600
Is this rack any good?
Without this video I never would have gotten mine put together. Instructions are garbage that come with it.
Picking mine up today from Dicks 😁
Thank you so much, those directions were awful
great video mate. lost the manual lol
Some of the parts are missing
$150 in rewards yeah no wonder it took a year to save up for it 😂😂
Edit: just curious what’s the max weight you’ve ever put in this rack to support?
Max weight is 600
Is anyone else looking for J-cup/J-hook replacement for this rack? I couldnt find one that fit

I just put this together tonight. Really easy, but the directions suck.
Thanks
Your welcome!
Don’t bother reading directions...my man walks you through it !
4 hex bolts and 7 washers. and your showing others how to put this together, ha ha
Sir it is because one of the hex bolts has a built in nut on the inside of the blue bar that it connect to so you can’t use a washer for the other side only on the outside
I asked Santa aka wife for this
