Very cool - I never got into messing around with pagers before - really like the videos. I'm also still getting into Kali-Linux for the first time - that's fun as well. Keep up the cool shite bro! This reminds me of when I made black boxes for pay phones n crap back in the early 90's. I should get back into this stuff. I miss it.
there is also this here, got it running on a vm, though couldn't verify tx as the vm was not doing well with the hackrf. putting a new iso on a drive rn to test on a laptop, this is confirmed working with this build of gnuradio though so taking a risk lol. not looking forward to switching from one to the other already.
I've tried this and it works with POCSAG512, but not 1200. What seems to be happening is that the transmitter is turned off too early so only part of the message is getting through!
Thanks super interesting your good

I diddn't know that pagers are still used so much today, thought they were a thing of the past 😅
Can you share the dependencies list?

Is the hackrf worth getting? Would you recommend start with the yard 1 first?

Only 4.5k for wideband?!?! If that is true for 2400b as well it's no wonder it doesn't work well.

Can you please provide file with commands? It is hard to type them from video

On newer ubnutu/debian systems I used python3-sphinx instead of python-sphinx
