  • Third time lucky. My most recent attempts to photography South Stack lighthouse were ended by bad weather, but this time I got some great conditions. An old face reappears too!

Iv been to South stack this year , and stood where you took the pictures, we had the most amazing weather,, it is truly stunning,.
Might i just ask regarding hilbre islands,, iv been there a handfull of times, and yes three islands. but the last time i went i biked across the sands from Hoylake and to my surprise there is another small island? to the east , is that not classed as an island ,
      cheers.

Yes, that is Red Rocks, not sure it can be classified as an island because is it sometimes submerged if the tide is high.

That's a great scene, and that sky is incredible! Too bad you didn't get the sun shining under the clouds like you hoped, but some great images nonetheless. Looking forward to films from Scotland! Cheers.

Just recently discovered your channel, immediately subscribed and I am really enjoying it. You come across as very genuine and you sure have the gift of gab. I am planning a trip to Anglesey in early September. Your photos serve as inspiration.

Hi Damian.. Nice place to take pictures from and as always, I enjoy seeing the images you take. Personally I like to take night shots as they show the World from a different perspective. ie. A shot taken in near pitch black and an exposure time of over 5 mins really show a different level of detail. I know in this video you did do a low light level shot but it may be worth doing a video about night photography.. just a thought :)

Nice video Damian. Encourages me to have a go at this location assuming I can work out where you were. Unless I'm more confused than normal the Isle of Man was behind not in front of you?
