Anyone whose really from New Jersey knows the creepy story behind the Pine Barrens and the Jersey Devil!!! I think they were going for that vibe with this episode.
Michael Imperioli himself, speaks about the New Jersey Devil in his podcasts, and how he believes in the legend. Apparently out there in Jersey, it's a huge deal and MANY people have claimed to have encountered it. It would have been way off left field if they added that into the Pine Barren's episode!! What a great episode, one of the best in the history of 📺 TV....
@@bangurhead4027 yea I don’t go down to the pine barrens. Couple friends of mine went camping down there years ago, no f-ing way I said. It’s not just the Jersey devil, strange people lived down there too, Hills have eyes type people. There was a creepy town that was all albino people. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with albinos, ijs, an entire town made up of them is… uhh… doesn’t make me feel good. There is just a lot of weird Lovecraftian type legends about that place. And yea, I know the show not actually about the JD, I’m just saying that it has the creepy vibes that the pine barrens is known for and the JD is part of that.
Valery don't act like an ex-commando, after he hit Chris and Paulie he just dropped the shovel and ran. An ex-commando would grab their guns and shoot them with it.
That’s true but you got to keep in mind Valery had a cocaine and alcohol addiction after he finished his service and it was likely that he was under the influence during his little pines barrens adventure. I wouldn’t be surprised if his mind isn’t as sharp anymore compared to his sober commando days.
