I used carboard boxes to build the body to Steve's exact proportions and then I had the skin printed at the office supply store. Each pixel is exactly 2.25 inches.
POSTERAZOR is the free program I used to blow the skin image up then seperate it into pages for printing at a copy center.

I've finished constructing my second costume and I will be at Minecon this year. I've made a lot of improvements and I will be sure to post some amazing videos with my new camcorder!

just use cardboard and tape it up of something and cut holes(for the pixels print it out.)
@@EECAI what do I use to print? Like I mean what site do I use not an actual printer.
gonna be honest: didn't think it would be that easy. I mean, I'm looking to do a Warden costume for either cons I'll (hopefully) go to or just Halloween to scare people. ideas are floating around since i need to make it glow, but the main issue was the arms. if anything: I'd try to do my best to make it look like it does in-game but if all else fails: make it look realistic.

Cut out the blue eye holes and replace them with 2 layers of blue painted screen, it works really well.
He should have wore a matching shirt so it will look more like he was fully covered. And Maybe same with the jeans or just wear dark ones. :) Overall PERFECT!

I used cardboard boxes and cut them proportionally. The cardboard boxes at homedepot that are 18x18x24 will require the least modification. Every pixel is 2.25x2.25 inches. It should fit people about 5ft 8 to 6ft tall, though you may have to add or subtract a pixel of height somewhere. Lastly I used posterazor(free at their site in the description) to blow a 32x64 pixel skin up to 6ft by 12ft. Then I took the .pdf from posterrazor to Office Depot and had 76 11x17 pages printed with the skin on.

At 2.25 inches per pixle that gives you this
head is 18"x18"x18"
Leg 9" x 9" x 27"
arm 9" x 9" x 27"
torso 8" wide x 9 thick" x 27"
Assuming that you are skinny AND tall enough to wear this steve.
If you are slightly larger, like myself, or not quite as tall as this guy, you are gonna want to figure out how thick the torso should be, and then redo all of the math to figure out the length. AND how big the pixles should be printed. Good luck with that :)
what math? i did it for you..... all you have to do is take the skin you want and have it blown up to 2.5 inches per pixle. Unless you are taller/shorter/THICKER .......then i guess you have to figure it out on your own. take the measurements of your body, and work backwards to figure out your pixle size?

Ok I will make sure to wear the costume in public THIS WEEK and post a video. I gotta make repairs, I danced for 6 hours at a party in it and the girls wore some of the paper off :D
Hey, i've made a minecraft costume of my own, but not as good as this one, i need som tips on how to improve my arms and head :P
My head: It's tiny if you compare it to the body itself, but if i make it bigger it will look ugly if i try to make holes in it (since the holes will not be in a natural place) so how do you see through your head?
My arms: The arms is kinda too low, like they are hanging a little below the chest, so they look kind of ugly when i'm not holding them upp. How do you manage to keep them in a natural position without ''forcing'' them in place?

that is awesome make a wither skull i cant find a video on it and my character is a wither skeleton in a suit
easy. get a box, print out wither head skin for right size, stick it in right place then cut a hole in the bottom to stick head in.
i made a hole village and villagers and it was made by paper
