These ink comparison videos are my favorite that you make. They are super helpful and I've bought many inks based on these swatches, but also it's just so relaxing and I love to watch them before bed to ease myself into dreams. Thank you for making these!
Love this series! Thank you. Imperial Blue and Violet really draw me in. I love Monboddos Hat as well. Each of these colors is beautiful. Bilberry by Diamine is fabulous also. Sheening and lovely and deep.
Thank you so much for this series! I find it incredibly helpful as I try to figure out which ink to sample next and it has guided me to colors and shades that I would not have tried otherwise.
Thanks for yet another great ink review. Diamine Violet is one of my favourites. I agree with you about Lavender. It's a great ink. Imperial Purple is an odd one for me. For a long time it was my go to purple. It just seemed to be lacking something. For me Waterman Tender Purple just has the edge. I do enjoy your ink comparisons. Thake care.
Very nice comparison. I agree with you on China Blue and Aqua Lagoon - two that I use alot. I haven't tried Imperial Blue, though. But it looks like something I would like. I am not a huge fan of Imperial Purple or Violet though probably because I prefer shading over sheen. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to do this.
Some gorgeous inks. Diamine's Imperial Blue is incredibly similar to Dominant Industries Standard in Periwinkle (which is my current favourite blue). I am a total sucker for shading inks. Thank you for doing the legwork here! xxxxx
Very nice to see the ink comparison videos come back ! I like purple inks, but I realize that I rarely use them (maybe due to the hassle to clean the pens afterwards?). I should use them more (today I have murasaki-chikibu). Also, China Blue looks very nice in your sample.
YAY, thanks Dave! Always LOVE the ink comparison videos. I can afford ink but I can't afford lots of the cool pens you show!! :) Please keep these coming! Take care
Love the inks comparison videos. Will you ever do Private Reserve inks? I would love to see a comparison of Tanzanite, Purple Mojo, and Cobalt Blue. Also, I love your theme music. Would you please give me the name? Thanks again.
If I can get hold of enough Private Reserve Inks then I'll certainly attempt to do some comparisons. Can't think of the name off the top of my head but I have it listed somewhere as I have the license for it.
Can you do a Band by color comparison i.e. Diamine Purple series, etc? The diamine violet, purple rain, I think are similar, but will be great to see the similar colors side by side.
Regards. I'm still looking for diamine pearl blue, twilight, shimmering seas and Upon a star. Do you think we can watch them soon ? Thank you and regards
Between Diamine Lavender and Majestic Purple, which one is the darkest to your eyes ? I'm searching for a nice purple ink but I struggle finding a comparison between those two :)
Sheen inks you don't really need to mix, it's the amount of dye in the ink, but shimmer inks you do need to rotate in your hands a little to ensure the glitter particles become mixed evenly.

Glad you like them!
Diamine Violet is a lot of fun, I love how it changes colour as it dries, makes it feel magical to write with.
Love the violet! Birmingham Pen Co's Electric Patina is an amazing rich blue with deep violet sheen. One of my current blue sheening ink favorites!
Love this series! Thank you.

Imperial Purple is one of my favourites. I’ve been using it for moths. Great video.
YAY!!!! More ink videos!!!!!!
Apparently I have not spent enough on inks and I do love the consistency of Diamine inks. Gotta give “China Blue” and of course “Violet” a try… Sigh…
Inks are back! Thanks Dave! Great vid!
More to come!

Thank you for a very thorough video!❤️ I was looking forward to purchasing Lavender but now I want them all😅

That's a good idea, although not sure how many colours I have in a brand that would make a colour video but I will take a look.
Great return of the ink comparisons! What is the difference between Aqua Lagoon and Diamine Marine? Thank you for any insight you may have.
Aqua Lagoon is a lighter colour I would say, Marine is more of a darker marine style green.
Regards.
I'm still looking for diamine pearl blue, twilight, shimmering seas and Upon a star.
Do you think we can watch them soon ?
Thank you and regards
I don’t have those inks yet so not sure when I’ll get around to them
if you like a dark purple ink frpm Diamine try Bilberry.
Strangely Bilberry is one I used for a long while but for some reason just haven't used it much lately.
@@PenultimateDave , 1 of my favorite purple inks for its dark color

I'd say Majestic Purple.
Hi, I'd like to get one of the dip pens with the #8 Bock nib you use in this visit. Can you tell me how to buy one please?
Yes, it's in the description of the video >> You can contact William at william.shakour@gmail.com or on Instagram at instagram.com/williamshakour
How do you keep shimmering/sheen inks mixed in the pen?
Sheen inks you don't really need to mix, it's the amount of dye in the ink, but shimmer inks you do need to rotate in your hands a little to ensure the glitter particles become mixed evenly.
Love watching your videos! I must ask though... how do you go through so much ink? Are you drawing with it?
I usually write around 20 pages of A4 a week.
