Totally agree, in all dance competitions there’s always some screaming to cheer along the team/ contestant but this is something else, very off putting and I turned it off too. Which is a big shame because CDK are brilliant

Mate I have been on stage a large part of my life and trust me I know how it works.
Anyway, perhaps you can understand me better if I explain myself.
I one can hear the music, in conjunction with the dance, you can see if they hit every beat, hi-hat, baseline, melody, lyric, etc.
I this case, I thought the shouting was taking away from the routine.
Anyway, I'll now go back to listening to Spotify, and work on my next choreo, thanks for chiming in.
That one girl screaming in the group of people screaming, right next to the cameraman's microphone, makes it so you can't even hear the music...
It would be so much better to watch without all that screaming from the audience!! TOO Bad people have to ruine the performance !!

Ummmm, I'm a 51 year old man! I'm here for all of it! The screaming didn't bother me! The energy was lit, and the dancers feed off that. The performance was next level, and I could follow the base line just fine. This isin't the ballet! Sheesh! 🤣

Whoever is making those vids - please talk to crews to give you their music. Constant scream makes me crazy, couldn’t finish watching. And this is the same for almost every video.

@@_AJ_pime sorry if it's something what offending you, but I was professional dancer for 10 years. Aswell your point can be fully valid, all people are different, I can listen to music watching dance competition, and moves with music should be connected to each other imo. Ty, have a nice evening!

@@_AJ_pime First of all, you don't know me at all, you can't know if I've ever been to a competition. Secondly, the dance has meaning because of the music, that's what it consists of. When I see someone dance I do it in a sound context. Thirdly, it seems very selfish to me that you consider that people should only take into account that you (the dancer) are having a good time. The idea is supposed to be for the public to enjoy, art is about sharing. If what you want is to feel good dancing, then dance at home and get applause on your beloved Spotify. Finally, I don't feel like continuing to talk to someone who the first thing they do is hate in their first sentence. Bye

Great choreography. Shame about the screaming. The lead dancer is amazing.!
While I love CDK, I think they had a big breakthrough by not being so sexual with Gotye's Somebody I Used to Know. You can see earlier videos that are very physically provocative, and yet, to me, it's far more interesting when it just focuses on the music and the dance. I think that's where their future success will lie.
I couldn't hear the sound. The screaming audience wasn't cool.

Is this what it means to be in the audience nowadays? Completely miss the performance because you can't restrain yourselves from screaming for no reason? I literally can't hear the music at all.
