Today is March 14, 2024 and I am just being introduced to this group of stunning performers and performances. I am hooked now. They are beyond wonderful and whoever choreographs the pieces is a genius (or geniuses). I want more and more and more. WOW!!!!
I’m two days behind you and I’m in the same boat. I stumbled across a vid of the CDK senior group and went through their performances and moved on to the CDK Jr videos. They are phenomenal.
By all that's holy, STOP with the weird, cut-away camera angles and judge reactions on fast moving ats like this! Show me the act from the audience's perspective just as it was designed to be seen from. Sheesh!
I really wish they would keep the camera front and center so we can actually enjoy the f’ing performance and choreography. WE DO NOT NEED TO SEE THE JUDGES FACES OR AN ANGEL FROM ABOVE ON THE LEFT SIDE. Jesus. Let us see the damn performance!!
Yes, thank you. I was thinking the same thing. The amount of aerial shots is crazy! And dances choreographed for live audiences are meant to be seen from that prospective- the audience- not from above!
STOP CUTTING AWAY. IT'S INFURIATING. THIS WAS CHOREOGRAPHED FOR THE PROSCENIUM. NOT FOR FILM/VIDEO. Why do directors feel like they have to embellish with gratuitous camera movement? It ruined this for me . You can't see the dancer's MOVEMENT cuz the camera is upstaging them.
